Hey EVERYBODY!!! How's it going?!
Just wanted to post quickly to let you guys know
Volumes 1 AND 2 of PEEPO CHOO are now out in stores in Japan!
Volume 1 came out back in April, but I didn't have time to post anything about it because of my deadlines.
I think about my "Deadline Ass-Beating" comic I posted in my blog a few years ago, and I just wanna laugh (or cry?)!
I'm getting my ass handed to me daily over here. This is not an ass-beating; it's more of a "Deadline-Rectal-Annihilation"!
Check this out:
My debut issue of PEEPO CHOO dropped in stores June of 2008 (also the
date of my last post on Myspace), one year later, June 2009, I was
finishing up my 11th chapter.
I counted the pages and I published 405 pages in one year (365 days).
So I drew 40 more pages than there are days in the YEAR! WTF?!!!!
The total page count so far:
PEEPO CHOO Vol. 1 = 250 pages
PEEPO CHOO Vol. 2 = 250 pages
500 pages
(That's my excuse for disappearing..I had to tell somebody...hahaha)
The funny thing is, over here everybody works like that, and I'm only
publishing monthly. A lot of artists publish WEEKLY over here, so
they'd just LAUGH at this post :O
Below are some pics of Volume 1 & 2:
Both books have rap-around covers, so I also took a pic of two volumes lined up back to front, so you can see the design.

I'll try to summarize the theme of the series as simply as possible so you guys know what it's all about:
The 7 main characters of PEEPO CHOO are:
Milton: A hardcore American Otaku (fan of Japanese Anime and Manga)
who's favorite Japanese cartoon is PEEPO CHOO. Milton's dreams of
going to Japan and gets a chance to when he wins a raffle contest at
his local comic book shop.
Gill: An assassin who also runs a comic book shop in the Loop of
Downtown Chicago. He is hired by a Yakuza mob boss to fly down to Japan
and knock off another Yakuza member.
Jody: Works at the comic book store, hates comic book nerds, and claims
to be a real lady's man. Everybody's heard his stories; nobody's ever
seen him with any ladies.
Aniki: Old-school Yakuza boss who hires Gill to take out his hot-headed Yakuza underling.
Morimoto Rockstar: American-culture-loving, cowboy-hat-wearing Yakuza
underling. He loves Hollywood movies, rap videos, and senseless killing.
Miki "Busaiku" Tanaka: Japanese Otaku highschool girl. Busaiku loves
anime, manga and collecting figures. She's bullied at school until she
meets her best friend. "Busaiku" means "ugly" in Japanese, but Miki is
cute.
Reiko: Miki's friend and highschool classmate, Reiko is a "Gravure
Model" and appears wearing bikinis on the cover of weekly manga
magazines. She's distrustful, mean, beautiful; and is known to beat on
people without warning.
Below are images of each character for reference:Milton

If you have access to any Japanese bookstores like
"Kinokuniya" or
"Asahiya" you should be able to find both copies of PEEPO CHOO. I know
people have had trouble finding the Monring Two Magazine, but these are
books, not magazines, so the bookstore carries them or can order them
NO EXCEPTION! :D
For those of you in LA: YO!!! Kinokuniya downtown in
Little Tokyo
carries both books! MOB that store!!! hahaha! Ask for PEEPO CHOO!!!
For those of you who would like to order online: Both volumes are
available at the Japanese Amazon (.co.jp)
Just search for "PEEPO CHOO".
Alright yo, I gotta go back to drawing.
Thanks for supporting my efforts as always, I appreciate you holding it down.
I miss you guys, and I LOVE you!
