J Spaceman has taken the keys of the broadcast booth at XM Satellite Radio's Channel 43, XMU, the station for college, indie, and unsigned music. At least on Tuesdays for the month of July, starting each night at 10 PM ET, for the station's artist-in-residency show, XMU A.I.R. Time. Soul On Fire - the new single OUT NOW
The first material from Songs In A&E hit the shops this week - 'Soul on fire' is out now on 7", CD and download.

The physical versions are available from all good stores and the download from here.


There is also a live version of 'Soul on fire' available, recorded at the Acoustic Mainline show at the Union Chapel last year.

It's been another busy week for Jason and the band.

They've been playing a handful of dates around the country to rapturous crowds and amazing reviews, like this one for the Cambridge show. Now, I was lucky enough to be at Koko last night and can't disagree with him - what a show... A mixture of old and new songs sounding brilliant side by side from the opening of 'You lie you cheat' segueing into 'Shine a light' through 'Sweet talk' and 'Soul on fire' to the climactic encore of 'Think I'm in love' and 'Lord can you hear me'.


Spiritualized are off to Bristol and Nottingham this weekend where you can catch them onstage at the Dot To Dot festival. if you can't make it, you can also see the band at an exclusive instore performance at London's Rough Trade East on bank holiday Monday.

Listen to the Radcliffe And Maconie and 6Music Sessions
It's been a busy week for Spiritualized.


On Tuesday the band were up in Manchester, appearing on the Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie Radio 2 show - it was a brilliant performance and you can listen to it here.


And tomorrow, they are back in London and will be doing the 6Music Hub Session on George Lamb's show - tune in from about 11am to listen.

Seen the NME this week? Well, the single 'Soul On Fire' is their Track Of The Week - but not only that, they also say that it's "the single of the year to date". The single is released on Monday and will be available on limited red vinyl 7", CD and download.
