Drum and Bass is back in the Effenaar with ICON. the Effenaar and former Red Zone Dj's Nymfo and Pressure see more possiblities for expansion and pleasant musical surprises! Which is why several times a year ICON will be bringing you the very biggest names from the Drum and Bass scene.
The Kickoff is tonight with a two hour dj set from Pendulum and Mc Jakes. This Drum and Bass rocks! Not surprisingly, since Pendulum started off as a rock band. The band from Australia / New Zealand swapped their guitar riffs for stomping beats, basslines and melodies as heavy as lead. Thanks to this musical developement Pendulum are now a Drum and Bass shock on the stage.
Pendulum achieved world wide succes in a very short time, selling more than 100.000 copies of debut album "Hold your Colour". The group is now helping out on production of the new Prodigy album.
Residents Nymfo, Pressure & Mc Dapper will turn the night into a complete Drum and Bass party night!
