Northern Kentucky has seen a rise in homeless teens due to the harsh economic times and outreach workers at Brighton Center are doing their best to aide these teens in the harsh weather.

A new study has been conducted by Norweeta G. Milburn at the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior at UCLA and reported in the current edition of the Journal of Research on Adolescence teens with family ties and family intervention are more likely to return home.
