However, our favorite review so far comes from a fellow named Mike Cavanaugh, a mostly photographer out in La-La land who has quite the poison pen if his TMOD hatchet job for All Access Magazine is any indication. Mikey, who lists Korn, Kid Rock, and the White Stripes among his favorite bands, can't spell the plural form of the words 'genius' and 'ass', thinks music with more than 3 chord changes must be rocket science (it's merely blotted science, Mr. C!), hates, no make that HATES instrumental rock (and probably 'metal', too......), is worried about us not getting 'hot chicks' at our shows, is convinced not even ugly chicks would stick around, and has detected 'driving hard rock crunchiness' on our CD. Phew! Then he goes on to warn us that we'd only attract middle aged male Rush geeks that pretend to know music theory and breaks our hearts by telling us that "the guitar shredding gets boring quick" (makes sense since he hates, no make that HATES instrumental rock.....).

And the moral of the story is: You too can become a rock critic. All you need to know is how to take a decent photograph.

Everyone!

Thanks for visiting our MySpace and adding yourselves - we appreciate it as well as all the favorable feedback we've been getting so far. Spread the word!

Anyway, we've been getting questions via e-mail and in the Comments section as to when 'Machinations' will be available. Well, we are shooting for an early fall release - 1) because Ron is still finishing up few things, and 2) we're still figuring out the business end of things, such as licensing and distribution deals around the world. Ideally, we want to co-ordinate the release worldwide as much as possible and that takes quite a bit of work.

So, ye young and not so young Jedis - please be patient with us. As soon as we have an official release date(s) we will let you know on this and related sites. Thanks for hanging in there with us.
