okay last night was probably one of the best nights of my life.. even though i didnt get laid :( aww..
anyway i thought i would try to write a blog about it cause i was so fucking drunk i can hardly remember it.. and my fucking camera was broken so i got no recordings, awww..

the day started out listening to tool and reading all maynards lyrics.. some of their songs have new meanings to me now :)  then went for an awesome mountain bike ride out to rocky pool and up the hill to the lookout of perth at john forrest..  took a nice video that i'll upload later.  ran into a barb wire fence and a tree branch.. scored some wicked scars and nearly poked my eye out.. heh.

the night started off at the ninth avenue cafe, having pizza and wine with my uncle and parents friends.. that was cool..  walked down to the civic at 8 just as they were opening up.  i live only a few blocks away from there and ive never been there before.. damn, ive been missin out.

sat down and drinked with the guys from soma and loose unit i think.. they were cool :)  dude from subtruck was working the desk. lol. i bought a bunch of subtruck badges and gave em all out to hot chicks throughout the night, lol, thats so lame.. hehe..

soma were pretty cool..  loose unit were good, especially at the epic climax in their last song.. hell yeah..   too bad everyone was standing back or sitting down.. i was being an arrogant cunt and sitting or standing right at the front in the middle :) i felt so special, hah...

the devil rides out were fucking wicked.. cant believe i havent seen em play before.  joey is a legend..  haha at the start of the set i go up and ask him to call out a request for 'all you cunts to get up the front' lol!  damn i was already pretty drunk at that time..  i must have spent about $200 drinking baileys that night, yay! i fuckin love baileys..

and then there was subtruck.. funny how so many people suddenly turned up at the end to see them.. yay!  it fucking rocked so hard.. i was probably being a crazy mad annoying cunt again but i didnt care, i fucking love subtrucks gigs.. good quality hard rock, just cant get enough of it. mmmm

ok there was another girl there who has the same birthday as me, yay! she turned 30 and i 26, so we partied together :P  hanging around out the back of the civic was fucking cool.. quite a few cool people around that night :)

we then made our way to the flying scotsman and velvet lounge..  never been there before and not really my scene, but had a great time anyway.  met some crazy little cunt wearin a tool shirt, hah and i found him on myspace this morning :P  oh yeah fuck i just remembered that i lost my subtruck dvd and cd on the couch there at velvet lounge, doh!.. might go back there and see if they still got it.  oh yeah bought some hot chick a drink at the bar and i think she wanted to go.. doh, shoulda given it a go but i was too interested with the other birthday girl and her friend :P

then we ended up at the amplifier and hung around drinking till like 6am when they kicked us out.  i was meant to meet up with hando at the rocket room.. would have probably preferred to be there.. but i was enjoying the many many quality ladies at the amps and didnt wanna leave :)

yay.. hmm, i stole the subtruck and devil rides out set lists, i'll scan and up em later.

what a fun night, im so fucking sore and tired, but it was well worth it. woot.

When I first started learning how to talk to women I didn't know, I lost touch with some of my female friends. I didn't quite know how to include them in what I was learning.

As I've gotten better at this stuff, I've begun to appreciate women on many different levels and have started to re-integrate them in my life in other ways than just romantically.

Being friends with women is important. Having women as friends is important. Friends in general are important. But there are many benefits to being friends with women.

Being friends with women allows you to see them as human beings. What does this mean? Does this mean you turn into a wussy and just be super nice to every girl you meet? Actually the opposite.

You see that they're dealing with their own problems and insecurities. They worry about guys not calling them back. They have their own set of issues to deal with. Instead of putting women up on a pedestal, it allows you to see them as having their own struggles.

It allows you to be intimate with women without worrying about all the negotiations involved in sex. Ever wonder what you'd be like in a relationship if you weren't so hungry for sex? Be friends with a woman and find out.

But I mean true friends. Not just be friends with her in the hopes of hooking up with her one day. Rely on her. Open up to her. Tell her about your relationships. Understand her. Be there for her. Hang out with her.

Date her friends if the situation presents itself–but tactfully! Your first priority is to her as a friend.

If something happens with you and her friends, that's great. But don't push it. Seriously. Practice all you want on women you don't know, but don't be creepy around her friends. Take it slow and carefully and be a friend.

Hook her up with your guy friends. Be genuinely interested and happy in her relationships with guys.

Dating can be tumultuous. It can be difficult at times. Straining. Your friends are there to level that out. If the only intimacy you get is with women you're dating, that's a problem. You'll get blown about like the wind.

Friendships with women often aren't as intense as romantic relationships, but friendships tend to last a lot longer than dating relationships.

You can also flirt and banter with girl friends. Once you get to the point that you know nothing is going to happen sexually between you, that both of you could have pushed that issue and decided not to, all bets are off.

You can say stupid fun fucked up stuff to each other and just be totally silly. Sort of like two wolf cubs play-fighting, it allows you to practice for when the real thing comes along.

And beyond just banter and fun between you, managing friendships gives you practice at managing relationships. You begin to understand relationships as real-world bonds of trust between you and another person instead of a needy no-holds-barred sexual buffet of what-can-I-get.

Girls can sense when you have an agenda. If you can learn to sometimes be friends with women, you lose that agenda feeling.

The Pitfalls of Being Friends with Women

That being said, you want to be careful of the pitfalls of being friends with women.

You do not want to be an orbiter. Friendship is NOT a good tactic to get a woman to be with you romantically.

If you want a woman to be with you romantically, you need to be able to take steps to ensure that you don't get caught in that dangerous in-between space of you being into her romantically and her liking you as just a friend.

This idea that "if she just got to know me, she'd like me" is a load of horseshit. Attraction is not built by you hanging around being nice to her. If you do not know how to attract women, you need to learn.

Attraction is based on physical confidence, touching her in the right way, being able to escalate, being able to take risks, raising the sexual tension between the two of you. All this happens very quickly.

It does sometimes take time for a woman to become comfortable enough with a guy to be sexual with him, but that time frame is, maximum, somewhere in the vicinity of ten hours–usually shorter, depending on how sexual you are.

If you are hanging out with a woman for more time than this without getting sexual with her, you need to be very careful about what kind of situation you are putting yourself into.

This is one of the worst positions to be in. Sexual escalation is an important barometer of your relationship with her. If she is refusing escalation for too long, you need to seriously reconsider what you are to each other.

If you are the super nice guy who is afraid to sexually escalate with women, you need to learn to get past that. It is one of the most important things that will keep you from getting walked all over by women.

While the use of the word has not gained widespread acceptance, nor can it be found in most current dictionaries, limerence theory is nevertheless used in psychological studies dealing with romantic love and is frequently discussed by those interested in Tennov's work. Tennov describes limerence as beginning with a barely perceptible feeling of increased interest in the limerent object, that, if nurtured by appropriate conditions, can grow to enormous intensity, although in most cases it subsides to a low level after some time. The Age of the Universe is a Function of Time

Conclusion:

Physicists have long treated time as a variable, yet they have failed to realize the full implications of that fact. If these age estimates are to be taken seriously one cannot escape the conclusion that as time goes on the age of universe not only increases, but does so at an accelerating rate.

Since these results are, at present, based entirely on data from the past, this age increase must be happening in the past. Therefore that point in time representing the birth of the universe, the "Big Bang", may be moving backward in time at an ever-increasing rate.

The rapidly rising trend of the age curve (Fig. 1) strongly suggests that at some finite time in the future the universe's calculated age will be infinite. This will have several important consequences:

1. All questions relating to the circumstances in place at the time of the beginning of the universe (the Big Bang) will be relegated to history.


2. All speculation about what was before the Big Bang will likewise be seen as obviously meaningless.

A few theorists suggest an alternate conclusion. They say that the trend of age estimates is due to a fault of time itself. Perhaps the universal expansion of space is accompanied by a universal expansion of the time frame in which all of this happens. Or perhaps the space expansion is only an illusion caused by the time expansion. Their critics say that these theorists just have too much time on their hands.
