Hello everyone! (Pour le Français voyez ci dessous)

As you might know, we've been touring from summer 2007 to this summer for our second album "Satellites" and we ended this tour on June 27 at the wonderful Verdur Rock Festival, in its amazing antique open air Roman theatre.

We wanted to give a special show on this occasion so we played a unique setlist with additional musicians (2 drums, strings and piano) and a very special lightshow as well (fireworks and flames)!
Eve & Raf were there with their cameras to shoot the event and you can watch the result here, thx to them for their great work!

Finally it wasn't really our last gig as we played a last minute concert in our hometown Liège at Les Ardentes Festival, due to the cancellation of one of the bands. Once again we enjoyed a lot playing our songs on that special occasion!

So, after these six years of hard work, spending our time recording albums and EPs, travelling and playing again and again, it is now time for us to have a break before making our third album. No tears or anything, it's not the end of HPS, it's just a kit kat, and be sure that we'll keep you in touch when something new happens.

PS: Piano Club, Anthony'side project, has just released a new single and will be back on stage soon whereas My Little Cheap Dictaphone, Redboy'side project, is still working on its third record, planned to be released in 2010, check them out!

Hello everybody!

2008's dead, 2009 here we are.

In the name of all the HPS team it's still time to wish you all a real happy and lucky new year.

We spent a very special year 2008 playing all these great gigs all around and meeting new and nice people everywhere we went.

It's time for HPS to have a break now. Among others stuffs, Anthony is working on the Piano Club's record and Redboy is focusing on the new My Little Cheap Dictaphone's songs.

BUT! Stay tuned because we'll maybe have a few surprises in 2009.

Note that we'll play in Maastricht (Netherlands) on 17th of January. As it's very closed to Liege, do not hesitate to come and say hello if you live in the area. It's also the Sales period, don't forget...

Anyway, we hope everything's all right for you in 2009.

It's the end of the Satellites Tour. But you can note that we'll play two special gigs at the end of this year.

First we'll play on the 12th of December at the Release Party of the fourth JauneOrange Compilation at the Botanique, Brussels. All the bands of the collective will play a few songs all night long. So we'll play at least the bonus track "Stay Away From The Music Scene", the song that appears on the compilation.

On the 20th of December, we'll take part to Le Père Noël Est Un Rockeur in Dour. You don't need money, only a toy that will be offered to a child. We'll play with other bands such The Experimental Tropic Blues Band, Sold Out, Black Box Revelation, Austin Lace, Freaky Age...

Hello everyone,

We hope everything's all right during this summer and here are a few news from HPS.

As you probably know we played in three festival in july and today we take a break and we're all on holidays. Redboy is under the sun of Malte, Anthony is in the south of Italy, so is Benoit and I'm back from Paléo Festival in Switzerland.

We'll be back on 22th of Augustus at  Brussels Summer Festival.

The next 2 gigs before the summer riot  will be accoustic showcases. We'll be in the Mediamarkt of Herstal (near Liège) this saturday 5th of July. Be there at 4.M.

And this 9th of July we'll take part to a radio show on Kink F.M in the Netherlands. It's called the "Belgendag" and we'll play with Tokota and The Van Jets.

After that, we'll plug our stuffs again and we see you at Les Ardentes, Francofolies and Dour Festival.

Hello everyone,

We were in Italy a few days ago for three gigs in three great towns. As long as we still have a few souvenirs, here's a small diary of our first italian tour :

Day 1 :
The first day was a day-off. We had to go one day before the first concert because it's a long road to Forli! So we took the road to Milano early on 19th of February. Nothing's special to mention, it was quite easy and we arrived in Milano around 7 P.M. We understand very quicky that Italian people park their car everywhere they can... So we do the same and we parked the van in the middle of the street... something impossible in Belgium without having troubles. We went out and had our first italian meal. It's not a legend, Italy is the country of good food...

DAY 2 :
We arrived in a Forli in the afternoon. It's a small and quiet town. We finaly find a place to have a couple of pizzas, just before they close. We met the guy of the venue, The Diagonal Loft Club, and he looks a great man! They book free gigs each week, and these parties are called "Trust Your Taste Maker". We went for eating with the club's team in a very very nice place. Once again the food was more than good. We also met there Cecca, our booker in Italy. He's a very cool guy and he's at home in Forli. The gig was great and we had a a good time after. We drank a couple of beers and other local stuffs. Some of us also went in town for tasting some food in a bankery still opened by night. Or maybe we should say "already" opened because the old man working there was preparing the bread for the early morning...

DAY 3 :
Back to Milano. We didn't have so much to drive between the cities, so we could have some rest. We bought some food in a supermarket and went in a park to eat. It was very calm and sunny. And there were a lot of animals : birds, rabitts, gooses, peacocks...such a cool place!  The Magnolia club is a cool club and the entrance is free too. After finding the good hotel, we went back to the club for sound-check and the dinner. We played quite late, something like around midnight. The gig was ok, people who discover our songs look enjoying the thing... After talking a little with Cecca and a few other people, we went to the hotel. Nothing's special to mention, except the amazing breakfast!

DAY 4 :
Bologna looks very pretty. It's a more historical and typical Italian type of town that what we saw in Milano and Forli. But we didn't visit a lot, it's true... We walked around in the city and find a place to eat before going in the venue. We heard a lot about Il Covo and it looks a real good club to play. A lot of good bands played there. Another thing to say is that Italy has a great indie music scene with a lot of great bands (Yuppie Flu, Disco Drive, Giardini Di Miro, Settlefish, The Banshee...). We were making the support of an english band named Peter and The Pirates. They are real great people and a very good band by the way! After the gigs there were a huge indie-rock party. It was late when we loaded the van and went to sleep...

DAY 5 :
We also had to make the road to Belgium in two days. After having a last (but not least) italian dinner, we took the road to France, in the mountains. . Our friend Fred hosted us in his family chalet. It's a very beautiful place just in front of the Mont-Blanc! Perfect to have a rest. Fred cooked us some spaghettis... once again!

DAY 6 :
Back to home. The road was easy and there's nothing special to mention except that we watched movies, again and again. Here's the list of the movies some us watched (very various, good ones and... less good ones... ) : "Hot Fuzz", "Shawn With The Death", "My Big Fat Greek Wedding", "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre", "Holligans", "World Trade Center", "Borat"...
