This Thursday, March 19th, Sisters and Brothers will be performing at The Starving Artist and we will be featuring our friend Noah (of Tell Stories fame) who will be accompanying us with his laptop. I hope that everyone comes out to experience this new step of Sisters and Brothers evolution. And even though we have only one concert in the concert series under our belt we will already be taking a short break in the action this month, bet we hope to be back next month with musicians who are making extraordinary sounds. Hope to see you all there on Thursday!

Hi Everyone, So the first of the Sisters and Brothers "concert series" will be happening on February 19th. We will happily be hosting Skinny Vinny, a sax and drum duo from Boston, and we are very excited about this. We are trying to foster a community of creative musicians that perform free music, but to do this we must try to make it economically feasible for these musicians to make it up here, and to do this we will need the support of all those that are interested in this kind of expression. At the Starving Artist we have not needed a cover, and we will still not have a cover, but we will be asking for donations to help out the traveling band. That being said, if you do come out to see this music, and want it to continue, any contribution that you make will ensure the continuation of these collaborations that are such an integral part of the free/improvised music aesthetic. We hope to see you all on the 19th, and we hope that you will help us keep this going. Thank you! Take Care, Sisters and Brothers

The Starving Artist (the new artist space on West St. in Keene) has been generous enough to offer the third Thursday of each month to play. We would like to take this great opportunity to invite other creative musicians from the region to play with us. It is these interactions that make the arts flourish. We all hope that you will come out and enjoy the music that we, Sisters and Brothers, and our guests will be creating, because it is the support of a community that acts as an incubator of art.
Take Care,
Ian, Sisters and Brothers

Hello,
Sisters and Brothers have been a little inactive latley after our summer tour, sorting through recordings, moving, taking care of new babies and so on. We plan to start playing fairly regularly at "The Starving Artist," a new gallery space in Keene, New Hampshire, so come see us! We have two dates coming up, in November and December, and should be getting some kind of month long residency together soon. Stay tuned!
Love,
Matt
