Starving Students rave reviews:
9-14-09
We
moved 9/12/09 with the help of Starving Students, our second great
experience with them in six years. Our crew, William and Gee, were on
time, careful, friendly and efficient. One cannot expect any more.
Consistent service, a fair price and a smooth move are the hallmarks of
this truly professional organization, Starving Students. Thank you. Mike and Mary Slate Newbury Park, CA

We
needed to move some woodworking tools from one of our rentals in short
order. We had a half days notice from our renter that his goods were
being moved in the next day. I started calling moving companies
immediately but most couldn’t meet the short term deadline. We called
Starving Students on a recommendation from a friend who had had a good
experience in her past move. Starving Students was so willing to work
their schedule to accommodate our move that I was impressed. Plus,
their rates were so much more reasonable. I will certainly use
Starving Students for my next move and recommend them to my friends
and family.

Turns out the
IOC just doesn't appreciate The Windy City like most of us would.
Despite tireless pleas from President Barack Obama, Rio De Janeiro was awarded the 2016 Summer Olympics over Chicago. This makes it the first South American
city ever awarded the games and sends Chicago and other would-be
Olympic hosts back to the drawing board to try and woo the X-Games
instead. Too bad for those of us that would have made the trek to
Illinois to watch all of the events that
are worth the four-year wait to see like gymnastics and basketball and
the other events. Even worse for the rest of the world that might not
ever taste deep-dish pizza like the ones you can find in Chicago.
Don't make a bad decision like the International Olympic Committee made when they skipped out on the U.S. and choose Starving Students when you move. Send us an e-mail
here to see how much we can save you on your next move and get ready for the best move you've ever had today!

Approximately 2% of the fun of watching the Emmy's
last night came from watching Neil Patrick Harris. The other 98% came
from checking out everyone's outfits and figuring out who would get the
most buzz from wearing what and who would ge t slammed for dressing inappropriately at television's annual awards show. And from what I'm hearing, Blake Lively
got the most buzz for her red dress she wore to the event while
Leighton Meester also got some notice for her white outfit that had
people talking, too. What had me buzzing was watching the New York
Giants take on the Dallas Cowboys
in the Cowboys' new stadium. That sucker looks nice. It's got windows
and seats and everything. I have a friend who I talk to every once in a
while that takes a flight from Los Angeles to Dallas at least eight times a year because he has season tickets. That's a pretty dedicated fan.
And if he ever wants to take the logical step of actually moving down there, he can go ahead and send us an e-mail
here to get started on the best move he's ever had. He can even see about saving some money on his move by checking out our Cram Session
to see if he can save $20 on his move. Or maybe he can actually give
some of that money to Jerry Jones to see about moving that scoreboard
up a few feet so no one else kicks a football into that sucker again.Starving Students Blog

What was the most memorable moment at last night's MTV
Video Music Awards show? Was it Janet Jackson's tribute to her late
brother that you'll remember most? Or will it be Lady Gaga's outfits that you'll remember most from the production? Chances are a lot of us will remember and be talking about Kanye West for quite a while. You see, it wasn't just that Kanye interrupted
Taylor Swift's acceptance speech for winning the Best Female Music
Video, it was the way he did it. Grabbing the microphone from Taylor
Swift and announcing that Beyonce should have won the award while
Taylor was in the middle of thanking all of those that helped her win
her award was what was so surprising -- even for Kanye. It also didn't
help that Taylor stood there motionless like a deer in the headlights,
not knowing what to do.
What won't make you or Taylor blush is our Back To School discount, which can save you $20 on your next move. Go ahead and shoot us an e-mail
here to see how we can get you started on the best move you've evr had with Starving Students.

Check our testimonial page at http://www.ssmovers.com/testimonialsor read below to find what some of our customers are saying about us! E-mail dated July 17, 2009http://www.ssmovers.com/testimonialsI just wanted to
let you know how great my move went. The guys were pleasant, efficient,
and worked fast, yet took care of all my furniture! Thank you so much!
Stephanie Sacramento OfficeE-mail dated July 12, 2009We used Starving
Students Moving Co. the latter part of June 2009. From the call
scheduling the move to the men doing the moving was hassle free and
wonderful. They took care in wrapping furniture and fragile items and
unpacking; especially a china cabinet which they set up in working
order. We definitely would use them again.
Thank You, Sharon

This
is my third move with Starving Students. The guys arrive on time, get
the business done quickly and get right to work. They move quickly and
efficiently. They've never broken anything or damaged walls, floors or
doors or any other part of the buildings I'm moving to or from. One of
my moves with them consisted of carrying everything I own up 3 flights
of stairs (then down again when I moved out). Still a quick, efficient
move. I was most impressed that, after all the trips up and down those
stairs, at the end, one of the guys still had enough energy to run up
all three flights to give me the receipt. Lisa
