Welcome rabbit heads!
 
I’m so stoked to be blogging from my new website www.bradyseals.com. I’ve been so busy I didn’t realize that it went live a couple of days ago. I just got back from Le Roy, IL performing with Brian McComas and Aaron Benward of Blue County. We played the Fall Festival and had a ball! We took my new bus (the gorilla bus). It was our maiden voyage and we had plenty of mishaps and things not working properly. We had to get two mechanics to come out to the show because it overheated right before we got to the venue. Thankfully we were able to get it fixed.
Spanky (my guitarist) and I have also been out on the road visiting radio stations supporting my single “Ho Down”. It’s been a lot of work but we’ve been having fun regardless. It seems that radio stations on the west coast really dig the tune and have been spinning it a bunch. Now we’re just working on the rest of the country!J
My CD “Play Time” comes out tomorrow. Whooo hooo! It’s been a long time coming. It’ll be in retail stores all around the country and of course iTunes and Amazon.com
I got to get going for now, I’m on my way to the studio to finish the background vocals on David Bradley’s CD that I’m producing.

A lot has happened since my last blog. I got signed to a record deal, released a single and my CD "Play Time" is coming out August 18th, 2009. I feel so blessed to have hooked up with my new label StarCity Recording Company. If you've checked my Twitter, Facebook or other sites you've probably started to see that tour dates are starting to pour in. My single "Ho Down" is starting to really pick up steam too. I head up north next week with my guitarist Spanky Dynamite to promote it and visit some radio stations. I'll be in Akron, Cleveland, Milwaukee, Madison, and Green Bay. If you're from one of those towns listen in, you might just hear me while I'm up there. You can find out where I'm playing on most of my social network pages.

Keep calling those stations and requesting "Ho Down", it's working! I've posted a list of all of the country radio request lines on my Notes page on Facebook and my Blog page on Myspace to make it easier to do so.

I've been writing up a storm here lately because I know that I'm going to start getting really busy and won't have as much time to do it. I've been collaborating with a good friend of mine, Bill Whyte from Cincinnati, OH. He used to be a DJ on B105. We've got good stuff in the works!

My friend David Bradley has released a single independently called "Soak It Up". It's a song that I produced, and he and I wrote it. Check it out if you get the chance. I'm so proud of him!

And finally, my baby boy Evan turned 10 months old today. My wife Lisa and I are so thrilled to be parents. We're truly blessed. He's sleeping right now as I type and I'm having a hard time not watching the baby monitor:-)

I'm just now getting the artwork completed for my new CD "Play Time". I friend of mine in high school, Jim Leugers, is doing it. I love it! He's so talented, you'll see!:-)

I was hoping to release it in April but it might be more like May/June now. I finding that putting out an album independently takes a lot longer than what I thought.

Check out the interview that Andrew Vaughn did on the American Music Channel. The only thing that's changed since the article is the kind of CD I'm going to be releasing. I've been working on 2 CD's simultaneously, 1 acoustic based and 1 full band. I'm going to release the full band CD first. The acoustic project will be put on hold for awhile, when it is released it'll feature all of my radio hits and a few new tunes. I'm stoked about finally getting my new record out. I anticipate it happening in the next month or two.

Finally...a new song! "Everybody Smokes In Hell" is a song that me, Bobby Terry and Kevin Ray of Hot Apple Pie wrote and will be on my next solo CD. The recording features some of the guys from HAP, Keith Horne (bass) and Kevin Ray (guitar).
Sooo many people are asking about when it'll be done, I've got so many other projects going on right now that it's hard to find the time. I'm rounding the corner though! I'm going to start mixing it next week!

Hey!
I wanted to let everyone know that a tour is in the works. I've teamed up with Aaron Benward of Blue County (Good Little Girls) and Brian McComas (99.9 % Sure) to perform together starting in March. We're calling it the BANG BANG BANG Tour. Keep checking back for details! It's gonna be a blast!

I've been in the studio this week with Nikki Z recording more songs for her major label pitch. The tracking session was killer. We used the guys from Jason Aldean's band (The 3 Kings). Kevin Ray from Hot Apple Pie was in on the session too.

David Bradley's project is moving right along too. We just mixed a song he and I wrote called "Soak It Up". It sounds like a big radio hit!

I also got word that Larry Berrio, another artist I co-produced, will be opening some shows for Brooks and Dunn up in Canada. Congrats Larry!

My son Evan is growing like a weed. I wish I could post some pictures on here in my blog but Myspace has eliminated that feature. He's rolling over now and starting to eat apple sauce.

Hey Ya'll!
Just checking in. I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving! Me and my family did. We traveled to Ohio and Mississippi to see everyone. It's good to be back home though.

I've been busy as usual writing songs. I'm also getting ready to go back in the studio with David Bradley and Nikki Z to record some more music for their upcoming CD's. I also finished up mixing 3 new tunes that feature Hot Apple Pie. They're kickin'! Those tracks will be on my next CD... hope you dig 'em.

I've also been busy being a dad, and I love it! Evan's doing good even though he's got his first little cold right now.

My wife Lisa's got her new website up and running. She's doing a lot of voiceover work here lately. I had fun designing her site. Check it out when you get the chance!

I'm doing some acoustic shows coming up in Nashville this month. If you're around come on out!

Hey Everyone!
Just wanted to give you an update on Evan. He's doing great! He's been growing, and gained a pound. Lisa and I make up songs all the time to sing to him and he seems to love it. If one day he sings with as much power as some of his cries he'll be in good shape. I've attached a picture of me and Evan, it's my favorite so far.
