vroom vroom vroom.... .... 

  we are more than ecstatic to be hittin the road this summer with life size ghost. we may be hot, we may be hungry, but when the lights come down, the energy will be undeniably fulfilling. from alma all the way to nyc, we will be bathing in eachothers sweat, stench, and ciggarette smoke.

                im predicting a little bit of violent love making somewhere along the lines..... it happens. we're brothers. we like to fight. but its love. and we're over it. cool huh?...

 ah, our first tour. how fucking rad.?. as long as the van doesnt do what i think its gonna not do, we shouldnt be screwed, and blued, but possibly tatooed.

i am very greatful, simply for the opportunity and actual chance to be able to do this. we are blessed to have people in our lives who support us and what we do. without you, it wouldnt be possible for us to chase the idea of a career as music artists.
so thank you for that. thank you thank you.

Given the current (police)state of the Union, with us being involved in 2 physical wars overseas and soon to be wars 3 and 4, with us involved in several idealistic wars (ie..the "war on drugs" and the so called "war on terror"), with us entering another Depression, with the collapsing Dollar,  with the rising Socialist elements in Office, with all of this.. SHIT.. we believe that now is as good a time as any to signal a state of dire distress.  We hope that all you patriot Americans heed the signal and pray for our country and help in whatever ways you can to restore our Republic. 
 
 

Well it has been a stressful, exciting, and uncompromised week for us. New experiences are wallowing about in this mid July humid air of Northern Michigan, making it even a little harder to breathe. We are putting together ideas and having lengthy phone conversations trying to make HERDs first ep " Obscenery " a success.

 

Tomorrow marks the first day of our recording sessions, down on the eastside of Detroit. Clinton Township is the home of Metro Recording Studio, a premier studio combined with the emmy award winning engineer, Kevin Sharpe. The new EP will consist of 7 songs. Included will be the head noddin' single "Obscenery" along with others like "Caranda RI" and "Let It Go".

 

The EP will be available at CD Baby, the world's largest independent cd seller. Through CD Baby, songs will be available for sale as downloads on Apples iTunes store, Yahoo Music, DigStaion.com, and more.

 

We expect to have the cd's in our hands by the last weekend of July, as well as brand new merchandise. A date for our release party has yet to be announced, so keep your ears tuned for that!

Our first Battle of the Bands, is also the largest BOTB in the storied rock n'roll history of Detroit. This is a 16 round competition with the winners taking home $10,000 in cash along with studio time in a premier Detroit recording studio. This Battle will also mark the first Herd stampede into the Rock City.

Herd (all of  us, including you hopefully) will be there thursday, the night of the 21st. We will battle 3 or 4 other bands in that first round. The competition is great! Some of these bands have been together for years and have established fan bases in the Detroit area. Herd has been together for only 8 months and this is our first visit to tha D as a band, as we mentioned b4. We need your help! The online voting started today Fri the 15th. Here's the link

we had a monumental weekend this past, and on behalf of the [HERD] i think we can all agree on the fun times we had. the herd bus took its first voyage on full tilt. through deadly winter storms, surrounded by unfamiliar food plots, we bussed across desolate forest patches which seemed to be full of fear and loathing; into what they call, *pause and say with a dramatic tone*...Badlands...

 with the bus at its capacity, rose city felt the stampede of a revolution pounding on thier front doors.

we want to thank every single herdling who support this group of more than just musicians and creative artists, but a herd of beings who are willing to step out and express truth in love and love in truth.
