Who's going paperless? This is one of the coolest things - and the prices of books are SO cheap compared to print versions. This is on my wish list.

Ugh. The obituaries yesterday and today had the death notice of someone I went to school with. Not a good friend - just an acquaintence, but he was 37 and had kids (apparently his daughter died before him) and it made me think a lot about life.

I've made mistakes as a friend, become a hermit, and let myself go. But most of my life is going well. My husband, my kids, my career...

However, I've decided that 2008 will be the year I extend some courtesies to myself. I want to un-hermitize myself, take pride in my appearance, be more active and develop more friendships.

I've spent the last 10 years holed up and trying to figure out what mattered to me. I've discovered it isn't money, isn't fashion or gossip. It's loved ones - friends and family, and yes, even myself.

I feel like the coming year will be my best year in life yet!  If the existing things continue going well and I work on things I want to improve, then I can't imagine how happy I'll be - I'm already extremely happy with my life as it is.

I look forward to the challenges I have ahead of me.

Tiff :)

I get asked all the time how I make money from home, because everyone would love to be their own boss and make good money at it.

Aside from writing, what I do is called Internet marketing. It's not spam email, by the way - I don't email anyone unless they sign up and confirm TWICE that they want to hear from me.

I write and sell eBooks (www.socialmarketing101.com or www.guide2ebooks.com), I sell other people's stuff (from eBooks to Halloween costumes or cell phone covers), and I run Warrior Special Offers (where I launch services or product offers at a discount to a select group of individuals).

I really believe more people will start learning about Internet marketing because first, there's SO much profit potential, and second, it's nice to have an income building that's automated (we're not talking about eBay selling where you have to stock, pack, and ship stuff).

Right now, I have several websites running, and they are:

Building an eBook Empire- an eBook where I teach newbies how to write and launch their first eBook.

PLR Mini Mart- This is a private label rights site. I write a pack of 5 articles on a niche topic like dog care. Then multiple buyers buy the $5 PLR pack, alter it, put their own name on it, and use it in their business. I also sell autoresponder emails, long niche reports, and more.

Social Networking on Squidoo- Squidoo is a social community like MySpace, but better IMO. You build unlimited lenses - I even built one about my husband! Each lens earns co-op money and last month, it was $6 per lens - which, when you have hundreds of good lenses, adds up! My site is a book that tells you how to use Squidoo to make money.

Build My Lens- This is a new service I launched with Mr. Lewis Smile where we both build lenses for other people. You can see samples of our lenscrafting by clicking here.

TiffanyDow.com - My home hub that I usually update to show what I have out and what's coming up. And I'm bad about updating it.

Twitter Traffic - A short $10 report that I wrote about using Twitter for marketing.

Each eBook has links to other people's products in it, so I also make affiliate commission through those sales. All this thanks to my husband talking his boss into letting me work from home to do data entry - which is when I stumbled on ghostwriting opportunities that led me to build my own online empire.

(One more reason to add to my "Why I Love My Husband" Squidoo lens!)
