PICK A LITTLE - It's not often you get to hear genuine bluegrass this far above the Mason-Dixon line, ya'll, but New York is a city in which you can, or course, find anything and everything. And so if you like to stomp and swing with some old-time bluegrass, then you should check out the NYCity Slickers, a new five-piece bluegrass band with a close harmony, hot chick trio - led by the fabulous Annie Chadwick - and featuring Linda Dwyer, Abigail Hardin, Faser Hardin, Steve Benson, Ken Linsk, Greg Utzig and Dan Martin. The group kicks off the pier 84 Fall Equinox Celebration on Sunday, Sept. 23rd at 44th St. and The Hudson River, from 3-8 p.m. Grab a partner and head on down to the river.
