To let everyone know, Nitrogen has now joined forces with Sneak Promotions of Edinburgh and together we plan to tackle SCOTLAND, not just our own cities. We are currently confirming more gigs for the new year, which are really exciting us and hopefully will excite all you lot to.

It doesn't matter about crowd numbers although it would be better for us and you if there was people to play infront of, rather than just the bar staff, the regular and his dog. So please try and encourage people to come along to see you play.We promote the show, not your band.

To get a gig under Nitrogen Promotions you must still abide by the following:

1. You must be prepared to have to bring your own backline if needed. You will always need the usual hardware, snare and breakables for drums and your own guitar amps.
2. We would prefer it if you didn't play anywhere in Aberdeen 14 days before or after one of our gigs. It doesn't help anyone if you are doing two gigs in the same town within the space of a week or so.

WHAT A BUNCH OF WANKERS!!!!!

I’ve just come home from the Flood of Red gig at Moshulu and want to vent my anger at the bunch of wankers that are called security staff!

There was NO NEED for their over zealous measures tonight. Throwing people out for moshing or crowd surfing is unnecessary and telling bands to stop leaning over the barrier and into the crowd was not needed either.

I think it ruined the gig for alot of people and also for the bands. To stop people from enjoying themselves IS A CRIME!!!

Transition-Extreme skate park and climbing centre – in conjunction with Nitrogen Promotions – will be celebrating their 1^st birthday on May 3^rd.

 

There will be a HUGE fun day of events throughout the day with live music, skate demos and competitions, culminating in an after show party at The Tunnels.

 

During the day, live music will be provided by

Nitrogen Promotions in conjunction with Transition-Extreme are organising the 1st birthday celebrations of the skate park in Aberdeen.

This will be an all day event from 2-9/10pm with bands playing and a load of british pro skaters and riders coming up for the comps and demos that will be on.

The event will take place on Saturday May 3rd with an aftershow party at a place in town from 10-3am.

Nitrogen are looking for 4-5 bands to play throughout the day of the event with Dirtbox already confirmed.

Bearing in mind that the park is a charity and has to generate all it's own funds, the fee you will receive will be minimal but you'll get snacks and drinks throughout the day from the park itself.
