Hi There,

I'm award winning historical novelist Elizabeth Chadwick. I love history, especially the Medieval period from around 1066 - 1300 and all my novels are set within this period.
The Scarlet Lion has just been published and continues the story of the great William Marshal for whom I have the greatest admiration. What a man! That admiration extends to his wife Isabelle too. What a woman indeed. Pregnant with her ninth child, she had to defend her castle and her family from enemies who would have brought them down, while her husband was absent across the sea and a virtual prisoner at court.
