earlier this year when me and Wes Meek went on our conjoined solo tours, we stopped in Boston for two reasons: a show at PA's Lounge and to participate in a podcast conducted by Andy and Jen Guthrie -  the founders of the Band In Boston Podcast.
What they do is really quite a wonderful thing. They bring in local and regional artists and have them perform songs live while they record the entire session. These sessions are to be known as "Flophouse Sessions" mine being Flophouse session #201.
It's a very intimate setting and I think that this reflects in the performances - at least in mine for sure.
