Current mood: excited
Local arts and expression event "Recycled Rainbow" (inspired by the Burning Man festival in Nevada) is having a fundraiser concert that is sure to be quite a night! Emerald Frequency will be doing their thing at this, as well as performing with spacey ambient band "Colorforms". (Starlie will also be part of the belly dancing group, and is one of the visual artists.) Other bits of goodness include Gary Nelson (folk), and Green Escalators (experimental audio art). $10 suggested donation. There's a parking lot out back (down the alley next to the thai food place), or street parking. Recycled Rainbow is a four-day event inspired by the Burning Man festival. Everything is organized, built and paid for by volunteers with their own resourced. There are no trash cans, so you'll have to pack your trash out with you. There are no vendors, so you have to bring enough food, drink and whatever else you need for four days. There are no schedules or rules, so you'll have to make things happen yourself and respect your neighbor. More information @ http://www.recycledrainbow.org Starlie and William (Emerald Frequency) are both deeply involved with this event, and we give it ten cookies (which - yes - IS the best rating)! The Phoenix Project is a new church for people who are interested in exploring and deepening their faith through the beliefs, rituals, and practices of Christianity. We encourage artistic expression and creative response to the Gospel through art and activism, worship and prayer, celebration and conversation. We are an open and welcoming community seeking to live intentionally as Christians while meeting others where they are; supporting and challenging each other as we discern the ways in which we are called to participate in God's vision for peace, justice, wholeness and celebration. More information @ http://www.codenamephoenix.org (These guys really are very cool, and great to talk to, no matter what your religion is. We give them ten cookies too!)

Hey everyone! The Cleveland Celtic Podcast asked us to record a Christmas tune for the show, which we did just a few days ago. It is now up right now, and anyone can here it here! This is the only place you will be able to hear this song, fyi. Head on over and check it out. We hope you enjoy our tune, as well as the rest of the CCP show! :)

Current mood: inspired
We're back from Burning Man, and buzzing like crazy about it! WOW! We took photos and everything. What an experience... We have bad news on the Dewey's front. Due to complications, they haven't been able to have live music there for a little while now, and our gig for the 11th is canceled. We wish them much luck on getting everything un-confuddled, as we like them, and enjoy performing there. Good luck, friends!
