well, it's here! my first ever TDY! It really REALLY sucks that I have to leave Boston (cuz this town is my jam!)...but, I'll survive and just come back often! anywho, I'm off to upupstate newyork. No, that's not a typo. I'm going to be 25 miles from the Canadian Border ... north of Watertown, NY. That's wicked north...shit, if I spit hard enough I'd hit a canuck or something---if it doesn't freeze first. Speaking of which...there's a cold front coming through with a vengence...*burr*...I'll survive,..but it'll be wicked cold.
So, for all of the unreturned emails, comments, and such---looks like I'll be snowed in/colded in (yeah, I'm making up my own version of English) ...anywho, I'll be returning those shortly.
hugs and well wishes!

I'm sick of being in school. That's all. Seriously sick of it. And, I just wanted to share that with the world.
(Those of you with mad inference skills will thus rightfully deduce that if I haven't gotten back to you it's not because you suck at life and my mad skills have picked up on it...no, it's because I'M BUSY and work/school/aka my bread and butter comes first (well, after loved ones , not myspace).)

god damn I've been one busy ass! Yesterday I got a rucksack with a whole bunch of gear...today I got a gas mask and hazmat suit (camo colored, of course)...this all goes along with my BDU's they gave me a month ago. and no, I'm not in the military...naw, not at all...just for the next 14 weeks. I also get to do PT at 0520 (grr)... and fall in, stand at attention, etc. Oh, and today we were issued our publications...42 manuals---and I'm still missing two. oy!
I'm goal coach for a u-12 team! We start Monday...I've got two that I get to torture! :-) Plus, for kicks, giggles, extra cash, and to keep me from blowin my brains out (due to boredom) I'm going to work at a coffee shop about 10-20 hours a week---depending on my army schedule, and (I SO CAN'T WAIT!) I get to play ice hockey this fall!
SA, I miss SA! sooo much! I don't know when I'm coming back. I may have TDY out there in Jan (ft. Hood, but still--nuttin in TX terms)...otherwise, I could be stationed at Randolph (yeah, weird, but possible)...*shrugs* I'm coming as soon as possible---don't be suprised if I come down for SXSW!!!! I luv it!
I came up with a motto for our class t-shirts: "Save a truck, ride a transporter!" Yeah, you know you like it!
Save a truck, ride a transporter!, /7

well, it's official, I work for the government. CRAAAYYYYZZZZEEEEE!!!!!!!!! anywhoo... I like it. so far, so good. I like the fact that I worked a full day yesterday and am not so mind warped I came home and slept --- NOOOO! I was able to have what I think most people call normality in that I went home, changed, worked out, showered, cooked, watched a film, talked on the phone :-), and slept. Nice not to be stressed for once! Now, I don't expect that to be the case everyday, but hell, I don't work nights or weekends, and I get to play army. SERIOUSLY, and I just found this out yesterday, I'll be issued BDU's, kevlar stuff, a whole bunch a stuff for field excercises. WTF? I mean, first they say "training" when in fact it's hard core school (books, homework, papers, presentations), and now actual BDU's and such? wa whoa. But, I'll be fine, it sounds like fun! okay, off to get ready... :-D

I had such a fabulous time...and wow, I'm so amazed. I literally don't have words to describe it! (me, of all people???)
A beautiful intelligent funny-ass amiga, Fenway park, coffee, vegeterian foods, movies, beer pong, asshole, Cars --- Mater's happier than a tornado in trailer park, being so drunk that you fell off the floor, unlocked apartments, bee spray, the TSA man running for pennies, GROWLERS, puddles, and intensity---lots of it. wa-wow!

Just shy of four years ago, on the eve of my 20th birthday, July 12th, 2002, I embarked upon San Antonio, Texas from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Culture shock is not even remotely close to describing the difference in 75 F A'dam, and 105 F SA. Not to mention the sizes of the cities, the difference in food, and people in general. That day I had 27 dollars and change...knew no one, and a couple of pieces of stuffed luggage. Today, as I pack the last of my belongings I feel rich. One, I have a lot more "stuff"... but more importantly I leave loved. To my friends that have become my family I say thank you and I love you more then words can attempt to describe, the Z's and the H's, thank you. To my friends that have been close, have become sisters and brothers in the crimes we tend to call life, I say laugh on, as I will at our stories we have shared. To the Japanese students that have taught me so much, I feel I have done little in return, and hope to continue to help. To those that have chosen to ignore/forget me, yet are reading this, fuck you --- karma is what karma does --- bar flys forever, stuck in SA, stuck in your self created drama, pathetic. For the rest of you that never had the chance to know me well, or were to shy to do so --- the future is a funny thing, often completing what the past started, see you then.
--------
those in VA that are reading this --- you've had fair warning for about 3 months --- let the hurricane parties commence, the cookouts heat up, and the fun begin!!!
