Hi everyone

In Finland near Pori game first marks that we maybe get the winter here too. It would be nice  to ski on the lake ice again in this year. Last year  was too risky. There was possibility to get ice bath while trying to ski heheh so we didn't.
Well now little hint for everyone. We are looking forward to do new contacts with musicians to do music with you all. So lets keep in touch and lets enjoy from the life and music all over the world.

We are happy that we got first song of our studio session with our qvintet for you today 27.06.2008. In that Summertime plays Tuija Marjakoski voc, Tapani Korpela piano, Sami Kontola drums, Jörgen Smeby bass, Jantso Jokelin harmonica.
Soon we get those other songs too and then cd is ready. well you know the thrill. Time is long when is waiting something

Hi everyone.

This Friday is last day of our studiotime. After that mixing guy Kristian does his magic and then it is ready, at last. heheh

So soon you can hear new music from us. Wonderful thing is that we got Jörgen
Smeby play bass with us to that record. Feeling inside the studio was so warm jazz feeling heheh and we really enjoy to play together. Thanks Jörgen already and thanks Jantso Jokelin harmonica and thanks Sami Kontola drums.

One thing. We haven't invent good name to this quintet yet. Any help ?

Hi everyone. It has been long time from last blog. There came that kind of feeling today in studio that wants to say out loud " Music is wonderful to soul.". Soon, well quite soon sometime in june you can hear it from our sound examples.  Good feeling is few word for it.

We just arrived to London and we have two really nice day time to enjoy our life. We ( Duo Session =  Tuija Marjakoski and Tapani Korpela) and Tuija's daughter Liila.We are gonna go around the town and few musicals and also good jazz in London jazz clubs. After we have arrived back home we notice what we have done and how much we have enjoyed it.

Again one nice Pori Jazz has been and second year when we were playing there on jazz street. It was again really nice to meet many other jazz musicians and hear them giving feelings to the music. Thank you all from that too. That energy is so good to all of us.
