Coastal German Shepherd Rescue in Irvine California, has just rescued 6 German Shepherds who were going to be killed at the Los Angeles Shelter - because the dogs had been in the shelter too long. Unfortunately there are 8 more German Shepherds at the shelter who still need to be saved.

Thanks to everyone I met in Mexico...I love your country...your people are the BEST!!!

I had the honour of playing bass for Marky Ramone...the shows were a BLAST!!! Great crowds and so much fun was had playing some of the BEST SONGS EVER WRITTEN!!! Marky Ramone is a really great fun drummer to play with...really tight...David Devine was singing and Alex was playing guitar... Marky had his drum tech Doug out with him. My sides are still aching from laughing so hard...funny people and good times! We flew all over mexico for the shows, which went really well. Great crowds, mobbings, human coffee makers and bean frappacinos. I dropped my new flipcam down the toilet in Tiajuana...had to pull it all the way out of the ubend...it got REAL wet in mexican toilet water, but after a bit of hairdryer tlc, it is now working perfectly..unblievably cool!!!

The whole tour was loads of fun.

Still in Weed...we are editing the new drum tracks laid down by Dave from Zerocreep (www.myspace.com/zerocreep). He did an awesome job...double kick at 171 at the end of timewarp!! Those guys are here recording as well...all great people and Mark is a huge fan of Life, Sex and Death, A. 's old band.

Having an awesome time here in Weed. As well as working real hard recording...our longest session finished at 7am...Thanks to Maor...and having a great time doing it including recording the chicken which was alot of fun. Sylvia bought in Henrietta, and Mike held a mic to her beak and she was gently cajoled into making chicken noises which she did really well! Mike made a loop out of them as well as some sounds that he ripped from his camera of Clifford, Jason's Chihuahua who had been barking at Henrietta earlier in the day. Totally awesome. I'll put some of the footage on youtube soon!

I leave for LA on Sunday morning, in time to help out with the mobile adoption again in Moorpark. Although I am very sad to leave Weed and Sylvia and Greg and everyone else, I am looking forward to the warm weather, the dogs, Holly and getting back on my motorbike! Then Austin!

I don't know what day in the studio it is, but I know my daily updates have gone to pot! We have been working really hard, finishing at 3am most days…Surfin is done and dusted…wait till you hear the bridge!!! We got most instruments in the studio here on the album…we got the meletron and the arp and even the patting of c computer keyboard! SOUnds amazing!!!

We are working on Arms Around the World a the moment…we have nailed the chrouses, bridge and verses…today we do the accopella part and then there is just the rap and the country part to do. Sylvia is going to bring in one of her chickens to record for the country part…that should be fun…she has done it before which is great, so she knows exactly how to mic it up already!

We have been really lucky with Mike our engineer. Not only is he willing to stay working till 3am most nights, he is also really great at what he does and fun to be around. The sessions are all fun…we have facial hair on the glass of the vocal booth…Milena already has hairy nipples and chops…see pics!
