We've 2 new songs up!!

They're rough mixes and we still have to add some wonderful fiddle by our Eadaoinn who was away when we were recording.  (Dawgs tend to roam free during the summer hols).  We've been very fortunate to get Senor Karl Odlum to record these songs for us!  (Grandma says "he's such a nice boy".)

One of the new songs up, Mama Angels,  is written by the wonderfully talented Pete Hull (as is Ran Like Hell) from 'Los Langeros' & 'The Critters'  (check em out in our toppest of top friends).

Anyway we hope you like em as we have plenty more in the Vaults of the Prairie!

JOIN THE DAWGS on a 'ONE DAY TOUR'. Sat 14th June

Check this Out:

http://www.katebushnews.com/sensualwalk.htm

(read to end - I promise its worthwhile info)

Thats Right the first leg of this ONE DAY TOUR kicks off in Howth with a walk along the cliffs of Howth Head  and back to HOWTH VILLAGE "for an afternoon & evening of music & merry making".

The DAWGS will kick off at around 5.15pm in BA MIZU in HOWTH.  Check out the link to this PRE BLOOMSDAY EVENT which interestingly celebrates KATE BUSH  & JAMES JOYCE of course(whose Sensual World pays is a tribute to Joyce).

The Dawgs are in great company on Sat as joining us for ths fantastic event are such great acts as GROOM, MUMBLIN DEAF RO, CAROL KEOGH, THINGUMA JIGSAW, Mark & Michael Stanley from RICHER THAN ASTRONAUTS, THOMAS DUNNING & Your Boyfriends, Magdalen Van Eersel, Ebby, Walpurgis Family & more.........

 *******************************************************************

The second leg of this One Day Tour takes the Dawgs into THE TUMBLEWEED LOVE SESSIONS  in the COBBLESTONE in SMITHFIELD, which kicks off at 9pm with some of the best music you will hear in Dublin on Sat June 14th.  Thats quite a bold claim but I can back it up.   (no Neil Diamonds were harmed in this blog)

All the way from San Francisco we have the privelege to share the stage with THE LUCIA COMNES COMBO bringing with them their own highly unique brand of Balkan/Gypsy tunes and top notch Trad etc, with stunning vocals & great musicianship from Lucia & her band - don't believe me? - check em out in our top friends.

And as if that wasnt enough we also share the stge with the wonderful & highly acclaimed BLOOD RED MOUNTAIN BAND.  The Blood Reds, who launched their eponymous EP last month in Whelans, need no introduction to many of you and for the lucky few who havent heard em, again, I say let the music speak for itself. Check em out in our Top Friends for Dawgs sake!

And that will bring us to the end of our interesting ONE DAY TOUR.  I expect The Dawgs journey will have a certain poignancy to it not too disimilar to that of  Leopold Bloom's journey in Ulysses - Full of Sleazey Sex & Pubs.........and some eh Music of course!  Hope we see you somewhere on our interesting Journey.

Current mood:  excited

I cant tell you how lucky & very excited us Dawgs are to be playing with

'MUMBLIN DEAF RO' & 'GROOM'

at the Tumbleweed Love Sessions tomorrow night.

We have enormous respect for both acts so it is indeed a real privelege.

Tumbleweed Love @ The Cobblestone has been selling out every month so if any of you folks are coming along I would advise you to get there early as we had to turn people away last month which broke our little rodent hearts! (honestly).

P.S If anyone has a good recipie for Pecan Pie we would be grateful cos Grandma has gone to Kentucky to visit Rattlesnakin Daddy. And well it just aint the same without her Pecan Pie.

They say her Pie puts the Tumble in the Love...or is it the Weed in the Sessions.  Anyways hope to see you in the Cobblestone @ 8.30pm tomorrow night!  Doncha be late y'all!

Lots of Tumbleweed
