Our guitarist and composer/electronics-guru Rune Sørgård and his lovely Stina have given birth to two little boys - twins. We wish them the best of luck and welcome them to the Atrox-family-lineup!
Atrox will do the remaining booked gigs with our stand-in, Trond Engum on guitar, while Rune gets used to being the "Family Guy", once again based in Sweden. Thanx to the internet, Atrox will still be working on preproduction of the next album, with no change of plans. We will metal you next year... And then we were back from the Czech republic. We had an absolutely GREAT time at Brutal Assault and the after party. Met lots of fantastic people, heroes and new friends. Our gigs went well and the beerful crowd was great. Special cheers go to Cynic and Suffocation for being such fun and great people!

Once again, thanx for a great festival and we hope to see you again! Ciao!


Btw; Atrox will be playing in Trondheim at Café 3B, august 21.

Only 4 days left... We are really looking forward to going to the Czech Republic next weekend! ATROX will be playing on the "Metal Shop"-stage, Saturday 8th @ 19.40 (7.40pm) before Immortal and Suffocation. We will also be doing a second gig @ the Brutal Assault After Party in Prague, Sunday 9th, time and place still to be determined.

If you are going to the festival, don't hesitate to leave a message on MySpace, so we can meet and greet with y'all! See you at Brutal Assault!!!

We have uploaded a "new" previous unreleased track from the "Binocular recording sessions". The song did not make the final cut for the album, but now you all can hear it

The song is called "Den store hvite stillhet" which is in Norwegian - in English it would be "The big white silence". It is inspired by the great Norwegian polar explorer Roald Amundsen - which you can read more about here. "Den store hvite stillhet" can be heard at our website or at our myspace profile.
We hope you will like the "new" song.

Rune S.(Technology & Guitars) will not be joining us for the upcoming gigs due to the reason that he is going to become a father soon. So for the upcoming shows we are proud to annonce that Trond Engum from The 3rd and the mortal/The Soundbyte will be joining us as a live session guitarist.

We wish Rune S. & his "new family" all the best.
