Due to weather conditions out of Manhattan, and the state of Dennis' car, tonight's show in Keansnurg, is regretably postponed. Sorry for the bummer. ZN

Like our music? Cool! Well, now you can find our CD Fresh Meat For The Fashoinistas on CDbaby.com. You should be able to either get the CD in full or simply purchase your favorite songs separately. Either way, you'll be happy you did.
Also, we will be having live tracks available there too in the very close future. Hell, they may even be there now. No one tells me anything, so you never know.
Don't accept any immitations.
CDbaby! Go! Now! You know you want to. :)

Hello. The guys from ZN asked me to come in here and write about what they are up to this holiday weekend.
Lazslo has flown off to Toronto. He is skating with The Toronto Maple Leafs in an attempt to make the team. There have been reports of him taking his hockey stick and shoving it, blade end first, up Darcy Tucker's ass.
Nobody is really sure where Dennis is. When someone asked him what he was up to this weekend, he replied, "None of your fucking business!" He then proceeded to inject that person with something and kept saying stuff like, "This is only a dream." and "This is not happening." over and over again. Mind you, though, that normally occurs. There are some suspitions Dennis is an op for the CIA.
Dave recently discovered a portal to a parallel universe in the building where he lives. He is currently in that parallel universe having hot lesbian sex with a blue skunk-bunny.
Yours truly,
A Speck Of Dried-Up Mucus

The Newark Fart Scene.
This past Saturday, 9 June, Zed Never performed at Kilkenny's Alehouse in downtown Newark, NJ. To those who saw us, thanks again for your accolades. It was agreed amongst all of us in ZN that we had a very good time.
That being said, I was angry that night. And I thought by now I'd be over it, but I'm not. I'm still pissed.
You see, dear reader, this was the day that the city of Newark held their first Downtown Newark Arts Festival. This was supposed to be an event to promote Newark artists and musicians. Now, despite the fact that the band regards itself as a NY based act, (I, Dave Lancet, have been a resident of Newark for the past 11 years, not to mention I also have been deeply involved in and a highly vocal proponent for the local art scene during my years here), the organizers of the festival did not include us. They did, however, include acts from places like Montclair, NJ, Jersey City, NJ, and Brooklyn, NY. Good sense of geography, guys.
Thanks to Kilkenny's to getting involved last minute and deciding to allow bands to perform in the pub that night even though the alehouse was not part of the festival per se.
The Newark Arts Festival was a complete joke. This event was nothing more than a ruse by the organizers, local businessmen all, to attract more customers to their respective establishments. This was not about the Newark artist, nor the cultural scene here, but the fattenning of these business owners' wallets. What wankers!
Sadly, the Newark Art Scene has turned into a relative farce as well. It has become insular and safe. Any hint of controversy or outside-the-box thinking is discouraged and frowned upon. There is no true support system within the local arts community. Even though I might run into one of the local artists on the street and they introduce me to a friend s/he is with referring to me as "a real genius" or "one of the most talented artists in Newark" (believe me, I've heard 'em all), I can't recall the last time I saw any of them attend any of our perfrmances. What poseurs!

Two tidbits of info today about ZN.
First off, it looks as though Zed Never will be performing at the Newark Arts Festival on Saturday 9 June at Kilkenny's Alehouse. Dave will most likely get a confirmation by Saturday from the bar owner.
In other ZN news, the very long anticipated single has been sent off to the pressing plant and should be available within the month.. Many different hurdles needed to be cleared to finally reach this point and the boys recently were able to exhale.
Stay tuned for more in the coming days.

Okay, so there's a possibility ZN will be doing an arts festival in downtown Newark on 9 June and we should be performing at a place called Kilkenny's Alehouse. It's a good pub and pour a decent Guinness. The owner's name is Kirby and he's a good guy.
Just be mindful of the drunken pillock who will think you're Stevie Ray Vaughn. I don't know about you, but that kinda spooks me out. I mean, let's face it, Stevie Ray Vaughn is dead. And personally, the last thing I want to see is the resurection of Stevie Ray Vaughn.

It was recently brought to my attention that the purpose of a blog is kinda like a regular update on all things Zed Never. I'll try to keep that in mind.
Today, Lazslo is working, Dennis is working, and Dave has the day off and plans to go food shopping.
Cheers,
ZN

I don't know why, but I feel obligated to write a blog this evening.
Today, as far as Zed Never is concerned, nothing happened.
Cheese,

Zed Never returns to Le Chateau Bow Wow this evening to mix down the remaining songs they recorded. And it's about time, too! Busy and conflicting schedules have prevented us from doing this sooner, but now we can get back to brass tacks. Plastic ones, even.
Not only will we be mixing down the rest of our new CD, but we will also be remixing one song for a 7" coloured vinyl split single that shall have an international flair about it. Your favourite cult hero and ours, Sexton Ming, has collaborated with The Tigerlillies bassist, Adrian Stout, for the flipside. We'll keep you posted as to when this sure-to-be collector's item will be available at a record shop and computer near you.
In a related news story, an old man in Romania purchases an apple.
