Well it looks like God has decided to open a new chapter in my life. As you may not know, I will be PCA'ing to 1SOEMS at the end of this month. It's bittersweet news I guess...I've always been proud to work at the 4th AMU through the good times and the bad...since day one. I look at us as the crown jewel of our squadron. In a way, you folks at the 4th have become my family. I look back over the past 3 and a half years and see alot of memories. Some good...some bad...but nonetheless, theyre memories. I've met many acquaintances, made good friends, and made some enemies as well. But one thing I can say unequivocally is that overall I've enjoyed my time down there.
But as I look down the road...and I look upon this new chapter in my career and life, I see endless opportunity to grow as a person, an Airman, and a friend. I can only hope that I seize the opportunity put in front of me and make the best of it. Now, I don't know what the future holds in store for me...but I just wanted you all to know, it's been my pleasure working with each and every one of you. I hope I've made a lasting GOOD impression on you rather than a bad one...but if you have a bad impression of me then so be it...maybe we can bury the hatchett somewhere down the line.
To my friends that have been there for me through the good and bad...I love you. A guy can't ask for better friends than you, and I'm sure you'll do great in everything you do. I may be going to a different squadron, but we'll definately still stay in touch.
Well I've said all I came to say...see you all down the line!
-Ben

Sup everyone, I thought for once I'd post a happy blog...one that I'm not venting about one thing or another. Anyway...I've got something good. As many of you know, us single Airman in the Air Force and military don't really have a family nearby to lean or talk to if something comes up that makes us need support and love. I've found that...with my next door neighbors.
I've been through alot of rough times since moving off base, from one screwjob to another, to damages, to whatever you can think of, I've been through it. But, besides my true friends, there's been one group of people that have always been there for me. Actually, it's not just a group of people, it's way more than that. The Pritchett family, (my next door neighbors) has always been there for me. I can't even begin to explain how much they mean to me, and how close I've become with them over the past almost 10 months. Not only are Ms. Laura and Mr. Jerry the most awesome people I've ever met, but the kids are the coolest kids I've ever and prolly ever will meet. From the youngest all the way up to the oldest, I can honestly say I haven't met a cooler group of kids and prolly never will.
Not only has this family always been there for me, but they have helped me see the light as far as religon goes. I'm not going to lie, I haven't been the most religous guy in the world since I moved out, but the Pritchett's have definately brought me closer to God. Thanks to them, I know that no matter how bad things look, there's always someone looking over me to make sure I make it through the situation I'm in. I'm not lying when I say this, but I consider each member of that family as my guardian angel. There's a reason I met them, and I believe God played a big role in it.
Anyway, I just wanted them to know that I love you guys, as well as Carlos and Los. You all mean so much to me, and I don't know what I'd do or would have done without you! I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!! Later :-)
