To those of you who we may meet at gigs, events or through life in general, band member Jon Zero has Ushers syndrome type 2. This means he was born with a severe hearing loss which makes it difficult to hear conversation in noisy environments, so please be patient with him, he likes to talk to people.
He also began to lose his eyesight in his teens. He now has about 5 degrees of vision left (tunnel vision) which means he can't see much at all these days, so again, bear this in mind if you are trying to talk to him or get his attention before or after shows.

So now you know, we posted this hopefully to avoid possible embarassment and misunderstandings.

Following 2007’s critically acclaimed ‘Seethe’ CD, Flesh Eating
Foundation have released ‘Purging’ through Rebco Records. The CD
version is available as a limited edition run of 300 individually
numbered copies. The release will also be available digitally through
the usual outlets such as itunes, napster, emusic etc.

‘Purging’ contains eight tracks, five brand
new recordings and three remixes selected from the recent ‘Godless’
remix competition. The new recordings reflect the end of one era for
the band, an expulsion of bile, bitterness and anger, reflecting both
life changing personal events and the doom/gloom of recent happenings
home and abroad.

‘Godless’ is a bruising attack on organised
religion built for the clubs. ‘Victims’ is a slab of digital punk
outpouring resulting from the brutal murder of Sophie Lancaster.
‘F****** Sick’ has multiple meanings and is a schizophrenic audio train
wreck. ‘Septic’ and ‘You Made Me Suffer’ are wholly more personal, with
the latter being a dark claustrophobic and speaker worrying barrage of
atmosphere vs outbursts.

First of all I can proudly announce that the new CD is at the pressing plant. 'Purging' is to be released through Rebco Records as soon as possible. 5 new tracks and 3 remixes, it will hit the stores at a very healthy £5.99.

This CD is a literal purging, a coughing up of nasty crap, a necessary ejection of bile. It marks the end of one era and it clears the way for the next in a mostly unpleasant fashion. This is pissed off mu.sic meant to be played loud.

It will also be in e-stores soon including napster, itunes, emusic, HMV etc.

Gig news. Check out our latest tour dates. We are planning a short tour in June and are looking for more dates, please get in touch. Also, we are delighted to announce that we have been added to the bill for Legion:Gothica at Eddies Rock Club, Birmingham on 7th March along side Funker Vogt, Gendel, Das Ich, Deviant UK, KIK and others. I have an operation to remove a cataract from my left eye on 13th October (with the right eye following a few weeks after). I am told that I might have to avoid using computers during the few weeks following the operations. Being as I am the one who maintains our on line presence this may result in a little radio silence over the coming month or so. Bear with me, I will catch up with it all when I can...
