I want to wish everyone a great summer!,it has been unbearably hot down here in New Orleans, the worst I've felt since believe it or not,the first summer I moved to Massachusetts in 1988 when the heat was deadly.

I also remember the summer of 1977 when I was living in New Jersey,it reached 109 in New York City.

Guess I need to start thinking cooler thoughts, lol.

Stay safe ya'all!,
Paul

Suppose your all wondering why all the Wonder Woman paintings?,lol...well,I'm a comic book dork, and came up with the idea after doing the Christopher Reeve Superman paintings, and thought the gorgeous Teresa Landry was a PERFECT choice, and am very grateful to her for the time she's taken for this project.

Hope you like, these are a few in the series,

I could not have worded it better than my friends comment below.
Portraits are a very time consuming endeavor, and have had friends on here expect me to do thier portraits for nothing [''can you paint me''?, lol ,and am excluding those I've used as models],who I don't think realize how much work is involved. An oil painting can take weeks to complete in some cases, and my fee's are considerably lower than what most artists charge considering the quality your recieving.
Thanks,
Paul

Portraits are priced according to size and detail employed, for example,a 18x24 head oil portrait starts at $500.00,charcoal $175.00,a full pose would start at $1.100.00 at the same size.I work from live sittings as well as photos, photos must be of high resolution in order to see detail.
I will have a website shortly for more information,in the mean time your welcome to e mail me,or call my studio 504-301- 6054 with any further questions.
Thanks
Paul
