10/31/09 - Update - "Our Trip to Europe!"
Hello from Europe! At the moment, we are traveling through the Netherlands and are on our way to London, England. This past month has been absolutely amazing. We have gotten the chance to see many sights, meet so many people and best of all minister the gospel of Christ. Since being here, we have traveled to a total of eight countries in the past four weeks. It was a lot of fun trying to communicate in so many different languages. Thankfully, people understand English pretty well in most areas. But there were a few places, especially when outside the larger cities when it wasn’t quite so easy. While in France, we found a little French Creperie to eat breakfast at. I was sooo excited because crepes are one of my favorite foods to eat. As I looked around the restaurant, I saw people eating crapes with all different kinds of toppings and fillings. My eyes got very big. : ) We put our order in and I waited gleefully with anticipation. As Brett and I talked over the afternoon plans, I noticed our waiter making a huge, and I mean huge, chocolate ice cream sundae in the kitchen. I remember thinking to myself, "Who in the world would order all that heavy chocolate ice cream for breakfast?!" Then I said to Brett, "How funny would it be to order something completely wrong for breakfast, because we couldn't read the menu?" We both chuckled and continued on with our conversation. Soon after, the waiter comes over and puts a big plate in front of Brett with a huge delicious crape on it with all the fixings. Yes, this was what I was waiting for! Then the waiter leans over and places a giant ice cream sundae in front of me, dripping with chocolate sauce and all. I couldn’t believe it! Brett couldn’t stop laughing. Any other time this may have been a pleasant surprise. Any other time but this! Then I find out, not only did I order an ice cream sundae for breakfast, but I somehow managed to order two of them! Ha, ha… Now I understood why the waiter gave me an interesting look back when I ordered. I just thought that maybe my French was bad. Well, evidently it was. So I grinned at the waiter, said "merci", picked up my spoon and had my breakfast.
We have had lots of laughs over the past four weeks, but truly the most wonderful times have been seeing the tears of joy and repentance take place. All types of ministry opportunities opened up for us here. We had concerts at Community Centers, Army Bases, Churches, Youth Events, etc... Watching the Lord's hand at work since we've been here has been spectacular. It's hard to believe that only a few months ago I wrote telling you how we felt the Holy Spirit's pull to come here, and now it has been fulfilled and it's almost time to go home. God has continued to teach me even more about trusting and relying on him. I believe this trip really laid the foundation for lots more ministry time ahead. We will be leaving from London, England this week to fly back to the states. Though it is hard to leave, I am very much looking forward to returning home… home to America that is. I'm not sure yet when we will be back to Nashville. Keep us in prayer, as we will be praying about 2010 and all that the Lord has planned for us. Also, don’t forget to call your local Christian radio station and request "Dangerous Prayer (Rain On My Parade)" by, Kathleen Carnali. It is our brand new single that has just released to radio. Don’t forget, this song isn’t on any CD. So if you would like to listen or buy it you can download it for only .99 cents at iTunes or Amazon. Here are the links below…

Well, I better go now. It is getting late and we need to find a place to stay. I love you guys and hope to see you very soon. Keep on strong in the Lord Jesus Christ and be sure not to stagger at the promise of God through unbelief; but be strong in faith, giving glory to God. May we be fully persuaded that, what he has promised, he is able also to perform! Praise God!
Love, grace and peace be with you! In Christ Alone, ~Kathleen

Hello from Texas! We are in San Antonio, where you’ll find the beautiful Riverwalk and home of the Alamo! If you live close by, be sure to come out to the concert tonight at Harvest Fellowship Community Church at 7:00PM. Tomorrow morning we fly into New York and then head down to New Jersey where I’ll be leading worship at Zarephath Christian Church on October 3rd. After that we are off to Europe! Do you remember a couple of months ago when I shared about how we felt the Lord calling us over there? Well, in faith we bought our tickets and will be leaving on the 5th of October for about a month. We haven’t gotten our return home tickets yet so we are not sure when we will get back. But it will probably be sometime in November. Our first stop is in Ireland where we will be ministering in Dublin, Kingscourt, Carrickmacross and Gallaway. We will then make a stop in Liverpool and London while on our way to minister in Italy. There we will be in Vicenza and Rome. After that we head to Germany and will be ministering in Heidelberg and Illsheilm. We are continuing to book more dates and still have some available, so spread the word and let us know of more places for us to go… and we will! Please keep us in prayer. I can’t even wait to see what Jesus does!
Before I go, I must tell you about my new radio single that has just released! Dangerous Prayer (Rain On My Parade) is now available for download at iTunes, Amazon, etc... I worked together with Dale Oliver (producer of Casing Crowns) for this brand new version of the song that has never been heard before! It is very true to life of how I originally wrote it while sitting at the keyboard and pouring my heart in worship to the LORD. It is really a prayer for all of us and I hope it is a blessing to you! Here is the link to get it on iTunes...
http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?id=332081350&s=143441
If you don’t have iTunes you can get it on Amazon...

We also just released it to Christian Radio across the Country. So be sure to call and request Dangerous Prayer (Rain On My Parade) by, Kathleen Carnali!
I hope that you are so blessed as you walk and live in Christ! And remember... "Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil. And may the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray to God that your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. Brethren, pray for us." (1 Thes. 5:16-25) Amen! And pray for salvation in the house of God tonight! I love you and hope to see you very soon! : )

Hello from the road! We just left the Midwest and are headed south. The night before last was simply awesome. We ministered right at the State Capitol of Missouri, proclaiming the name of Jesus Christ and worshiping the true King of Kings! There are only two states left in the country that have this type of event every year. What a blessing it was to be part of it! This past month has been pretty exciting all around. We just found out last week that our latest single, “Oh Oh Lord” hit number one on the Christian Radio Weekly global charts. I can’t even tell you how thankful I am to know that the song is being able to reach out and bless so many! To God be all the glory!
About a week and a half ago, we were in Colorado heading west through the mountains. We were up at about 9 thousand feet of altitude when we spotted something strange in the distance. On a mountain right ahead of us, there was a massive twirling cloud of debree. So, we got out of the van to get a better look at what it was. You won’t even believe it… it was a tornado! Ahhh! We stood there in complete amazement and watched it for a few minutes until it dissipated. Then we all hopped back in the van and headed on our way, which unfortunately happened to be straight toward that mountain. As we drove, our eyes were pinned to the sky as you can only imagine. We saw another funnel cloud trying to form off in the distance, but it didn’t last for more than a few minutes. Then, all of the sudden I saw what looked like a spiraling section of wind lowering out of the clouds less than 100 meters down the highway. We stopped the van and immediately got out. I couldn’t believe my eyes! A tornado was forming, right in front of us! I was so excited that I grabbed my camera and got my picture with it! Then everyone else got their pictures too. Haha… I know it sounds crazy, but our whole lives we have wanted to see one in real life and there it was right before us. As it moved closer, it got lower and lower trying to touch the ground. I don’t know why, but we never thought to turn around or run away… fear never kicked in, like I thought it would have. But as it got even closer I remember thinking, -ok Lord, what should I do if it touches down? I felt total peace. Then, right as it got closer I noticed the twister begin to loose momentum and lift up right before our eyes. Honestly, it was one of the most awesome experiences ever! You must go to my website at www.KathleenCarnali.com and see the pictures! I also posted them at my Facebook music page at: http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/pages/Kathleen-Carnali/30401042112?ref=ts
As I thought about all that had happened, the Lord began to speak to me. He showed me a great picture of how he wants us to react, when major storms come and days of trouble happen. He brought me to the end of Mark chapter 4, when Jesus commanded his disciples to get in a boat and pass over to the other side of the sea. Just like how we needed to pass by that mountain in our van. There arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat the boat so much that it began to fill with water. However, Jesus was in the back of the boat asleep on a pillow. His disciples woke him up saying "Master, don’t you care that we are about to die!" Jesus arose, and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace, be still." And at that moment the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. Then Jesus said to them, "Why are ye so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?" And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, "What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?" How quickly we can take our trust and reliance off Jesus and put it in ourselves. How often do we trust him with our mouths but our actions say something else. And how easy it is to muse over possible scenarios of what ‘could’ happen, based on our own fears and worries. Our life actions will eventually follow. Selfishness creeps in and so can the fear of not having enough, or worrying that a storm may come in the future and take what is "ours". Eventually, we live to maintain our gifts, rather than live to serve God totally with them. This is not faith. In fact, it is just the opposite. My prayer for you and myself is that we WOULD be people who literally LIVE by faith and WALK in faith. This is the way of the LORD. Psalm 101:6 says, "Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me." Proverbs 28:20 says, "A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent." Matthew 24:45-46 says, "Who then is a faithful and wise servant…? Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. Verily I say unto you, that he shall make him ruler over all his goods."
Thank you Father for such an awesome picture of faith and for teaching us to be faithful. May we not just be hearers of your word but doers also, that you would be glorified in our lives! And when that great day comes, as I stand before you, may I hear your words "Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord." Amen.
"Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For you have need of patience, that, after you have done the will of God, you might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul." (Hebrews 10: 35-39)
Be blessed my friend and trust in Him! All love in Jesus,
~Kathleen

I have so much to testify of and praise God for since the last time I wrote. Our ministry time at Morey’s Piers Amusement Park was absolutely incredible. Thousands of people showed up at the Jersey Shore for 'A Closer Walk' youth event. It was the largest turnout they had ever had. I could see a sea of people before me as we ministered and worshiped the Lord together. After the gospel was given, hundreds came forward to submit their lives to Jesus Christ. Then the next night more came forward as they surrendered to the Lord, praying with one another, forgiving one another, and then worshipping God together. I am still having testimonies come in and have heard of different churches holding large baptism services because so many of their young people wanted to get baptized after returning home from the weekend. All praise be to God, the LORD of the harvest! Our most recent ministry time was at a rescue mission in Atlantic City. All I can say is Wow... the Holy Spirit filled that place with his power and presence! Many strongholds were broken and souls came to Christ. It continued on after the service as well. One man in particular came up to me and just began confessing his sins and then asked, "What must I do to be saved?" There were many others as well that we were able to talk with and pray with. Since then I have received even more testimonies of the evidence of salvation that took place that day, including that one man that I mentioned before. He ended up finding a Bible at the rescue mission and has just been consuming the Word of God! Thank you Father! Please pray now for our new brothers and sisters in Christ. Lately, it has felt like we are living in a Bible story. God’s hand has been so evident and his work so powerful. We have recently been feeling the lead of the Spirit to go over to Europe to minister there. We hope to buy our tickets soon to leave in October, and stay for about 3-4 weeks. We have never been there before nor do we have many connections. However, the pull of the Lord is so strong that we know we must go and are totally going on faith. Some of the countries that we are praying about going to are Ireland, Scotland, Whales, England, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, and wherever other doors of ministry open up to us. Already, we are seeing God move things into place. My faith has been so increased and strengthened lately that I feel as though I could just float away! Haha... I’m not really sure how to describe it. God is good. For the next few weeks you will notice that there aren’t as many concerts on our schedule. This is not for lack of ministry opportunity. We have purposely set this time aside to take with us a team of five others, where we will all be ministering together on the streets, to the homeless, etc… wherever the Spirit leads. So please continue to keep us in prayer as we journey on. Everyday God renews my strength and sets before me the plans he has willed for me to accomplish. This is what he has for all of us, glory to God!
"See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it. But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them; I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it. I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them." (Deuteronomy 30:15-20)
May you choose life today and walk in his ways. May the seed of the word of God that has been planted in you, grow and produce much fruit in the land that God had given to you.
In Christ’s Name, ~Kathleen

I pray this message finds you well! The past few weeks on the road have been quite eventful to say the least. We’ve experienced everything from breaking down on the highway in the middle of the night in Wyoming, as well as our guitar player needing emergency surgery on his appendix in Ohio, to standing among some of California's most enormous giant sequoia trees and even getting to drive through the beautiful Yosemite National Park where we spotted a mother bear with her two baby cubs. You just never know what may happen next on the road! : ) But one thing I do know, is that nothing compares to the experience of seeing lives changed and souls saved by the power of our risen Savior Jesus Christ. I can’t even express the gratitude I have to the LORD for his marvelous works and glorious salvation. We have had powerful testimonies of deliverance from sin, victory over suicide and new passion for Christ! Thank you Lord!!
Today we posted a brand new video up on the web! While in Wyoming I had the chance to sing and speak on a television show that you can watch at these links: 1 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qweBoX95SHs (Interview) 2 – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kPIQsJ19oVk (Interview/Music) 3 – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqdHGlSXwDQ (Testimony) 4 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dAMLKYlNWeU (Interview/ Music) The video is broken up into four small parts so be sure to watch 1-4. Also, you can see our pictures from our recent travels right on our Website! : )
We just returned home from the road after six weeks but will soon be back out again in a few days. This Thursday we will be ministering in White House, TN. Soon after that we go up the coast to minister at Morey's Piers Amusement Park in Wildwood, New Jersey on July 16th and 17th. I am so looking forward to it! You can check the website for more dates and info at, www.KathleenCarnali.com
Well I hope to see you very soon! Until then, may the Lord bless you and keep you as you walk faithfully in Him… “Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.” (Jeremiah 17 7-8)
“Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD. Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.” (Psalm 119:1-2)
All my love in Christ, ~Kathleen

Hey guys! I hope that this email finds you well. Earlier this week we were at Spruce Lake Retreat Center in PA. It was a wonderful time in the Lord’s presence and also a perfect place to rest and be still before God. Our next stop we will be ministering in Dayton, OH. Already the Holy Spirit has been moving in such mighty ways and we are so excited for all that God has planned ahead for this tour. I want to ask for special prayer right now. As you know, we are in a spiritual battle and Satan seeks to destroy those who live their lives for the Lord Jesus Christ. At the moment, I am writing to you from a hospital emergency center. Our guitar player, Hans had an unexpected attack on his health this morning. We would so appreciate your prayers on his behalf. The Lord is in control, thank God for that. We have been here for many hours now. As I’ve been sitting here waiting and praying, the Lord filled me with peace and gave me a new song. Oh, I thank God that he loves us so much and works all things together for good and his great purpose. "Likewise the Spirit also helps our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because he makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." (Romans 8: 26-28) Thank you Jesus. Here are some of the places that we will be next: 5/28/09 Dayton, OH The Salvation Army - 6:30 PM 5/29/09 Crystal Lake, IL Community Life Church - 7:00 PM 5/31/09 Cheyenne, WY Calvary Chapel Cheyenne – W 9:00 AM 5/31/09 Cheyenne, WY Calvary Chapel Cheyenne - 11:00 AM 6/1/09 Cheyenne, WY Element Church - 7:00 PM 6/6/09 Forest Grove, OR The Exchange Church - 7:00 PM 6/7/09 Forest Grove, OR The Exchange Church - 10:00 AM 6/12/09 Yreka, CA Hidden Treasures Women's Conference - 6:00 PM 6/13/09 Yreka, CA Hidden Treasures Women's Conference - 8:00 AM 6/14/09 Redding, CA Little Country Church - TBA 6/16/09 Fresno, CA Victory Christian Fellowship - 7:00 PM 6/18/09 Porterville, CA First Assembly of God - 7:00 PM 6/20/09 Salt Lake City, UT Calvary Chapel Salt Lake City - 6:30 PM 6/21/09 Salt Lake City, UT Calvary Chapel Salt Lake City - 8:00 AM 6/21/09 Salt Lake City, UT Calvary Chapel Salt Lake City – 10:00 AM 6/21/09 Salt Lake City, UT Calvary Chapel Salt Lake City - 12:00 PM If you have a cell phone, text: kathleencarnali to: 43863 and you will be sent a link to our new 'Kathleen Carnali Mobile Family Page.' Also, we have just released our newest radio single. You can help us by calling your local Christian Radio station and requesting "Oh Oh Lord" by, Kathleen Carnali. Thank you : ) Well, I must go now. May you be encouraged this day and know that no matter what, the LORD never forsakes the righteous. Their steps are ordered by the LORD and he delights in their ways. But if you should fall, you will not be utterly cast down: for the LORD will uphold you with his hand. "I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD." 4/30/09 – Update – "1 Samuel"Hello! I pray that this update finds you well! It has been raining all day here in Nashville, but I love it! It’s very relaxing : ) We just got back this past weekend from an awesome ministry trip to KY! In between dates I have been back in the studio recording as well as getting ready for our next cross-country tour. This weekend we will be down in Cleveland, TN and then back on the road for about two months straight. All of our dates and locations will be up very soon on the website calendar. Be sure to check it out at: KathleenCarnali.com To give you an idea of some of the places we will be going… the band, Brett and I will first be heading up to Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, over to Wyoming, out to California, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana and finally back up to Tennessee. We will also be releasing “Oh, Oh Lord” to radio this month. So now is the time to start calling your local stations requesting it. : ) I hope to see you on tour! Right now I am reading through the book of 1st Samuel. The more I read, the more I am just blown away at all that the Lord has done and how much we have to learn from His word. If you have never read Samuel chapter 1-4, I highly recommend reading it soon. Here is a piece: “…My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation. There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.” (1 Samuel 2:2-3) Awesome, huh! There is so much to take and eat from this book. It is also very timely and prophetic. Samuel’s mother Hannah dedicated him to the LORD from his birth. As a young child Samuel began to serve and minister in the temple under Eli, the High Priest. Now Eli was very old, and heard about all the sins that his sons were committing. They also were priests and were supposed to serve God in the temple. However, their lives did not honor God, they committed fornication and did vile things which dishonored the Lord. Eli addressed these issues with his sons but did not take any action to stop them. They did not repent and continued in their ways. Soon enough, God spoke to Eli asking, “…why have you honored your sons above me? …and make yourselves fat with the chiefest of all the offerings of Israel my people?” Then he went on to say… “I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed. Behold, the days come, that I will cut off thine arm, and the arm of thy father's house…” Soon after this the Lord told Eli, “I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever.” This is where little Samuel comes in. God began to raise up Samuel and even use him to speak to Eli once again, warning him about the conduct of his sons. Our Lord is so longsuffering. However, this was the last warning. Then God spoke to young Samuel saying, “I will perform against Eli all things which I have spoken concerning his house: when I begin, I will also make an end. For I have told him that I will judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he knoweth; because his sons made themselves vile, and he restrained them not.” After reading this I stopped. It hit me differently than ever before. God was obviously upset because of the things that his sons were doing, but also because their father restrained them not. This is definitely something to consider and learn from. It is so easy to struggle with being man pleasers rather than God honorers. I can’t even imagine how scared Samuel must have been to have to tell The High Priest Eli, the word that the Lord delivered. But, he overcame his fear of man and was obedient to God. May the Lord raise up more Samuels today! …men and woman, young and old, that will stand as faithful priests in this generation to do according to that which is in God's heart and mind. For the Bible declares that those who are in Christ, are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light…” (1 Pet 2:9-11) This is what we have been called to. So shine bright, serve and honor the LORD above all, and reflect his amazing light!! Love you and hope to see you soon! : ) All love and hope in Christ, ~Kathleen Bringing Truth to Life through Music… www.KathleenCarnali.com -------- Come visit me at Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/pages/Kathleen-Carnali/30401042112?ref=tsI’m on Twitter now too! http://twitter.com/KathleenCarnali

2/26/09 – Update – “Even a Tree like Me”
Hello all!! : ) We are currently on the road headed up to Wisconsin, the cheese state! Mmmm… I can’t wait to get me some of those squeaky cheese curds! This Saturday night we will be at The Cup of Joy in Green Bay and then on Sunday at Faith Church in Manitowoc. For more Dates and Details, check out the website: KathleenCarnali.com. We also posted a new short video to the web! You can watch it at this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LI9usN4lCAs It is an interview I had talking about the song ”All to You” from my second album. Enjoy!
So pretty much we have been driving all day. We went through Kentucky earlier today and it looked like a major hurricane had hit. So many of the trees were down, broken or destroyed. They must not have been able to withstand the weight of the ice from the ice storm they recently had. In the Bible, men are often compared to trees. As I saw the broken trees it reminded me of the brokenness and hard-times that many of my brother’s and sister’s are facing around this country and in the world. The fact is, we live in a broken world with sin, pain and death… little by little it cuts us down to destroy us. But what Satan means for our harm, God means for our good! Hallelujah!!! The Bible tells us that even a tree has hope after it falls to the ground and dies. The hope is in receiving the water of life… even in the mist of it!
“For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease. Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground; Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant.” (Job 14:7-9)
This world will rob you, lie to you and cut you down until you are dead. We can easily get caught up in the rat race of trying to save this life and preserve it. However, the Bible tells us that those who seek to save their lives here shall loose them. But Jesus said, if you die to this life for His sake, than you will find life and God himself will raise you from the dead!
May the scent and mist of the Spirit of God blow upon you, that you would bud and bring fourth new branches, bearing much fruit for the Kingdom of God. He is not through with you yet so do not be discouraged! After all, God can do anything with a broken vessel (or tree!) willingly laid before him!
“The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.” (Psalm 34:18-19)
All love in Christ Jesus our Lord Who was willingly broken for us…
~Kathleen

12/31/08 – Update – "Vision for 2009!"
Hey guys! Only a few minutes left until the year 2009! It's amazing how fast the time flies. I hope that you have a wonderful new year in Christ! As we prepare to step into this New Year, we see that the world in which we live is unstable and full of uncertainty. We have some interesting times ahead of us for sure. Through all of this we must hold fast to what we know is true and remember that our only real hope and true security is our faith and trust in Jesus Christ.
"And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven." (Mat. 10:28-33)
This is the perfect time to search our hearts and our motives before the Lord. Pray and ask him to give you strength and clear vision in 2009 to fulfill the work He has planned for you to do.
"He that trusteth in his riches shall fall; but the righteous shall flourish as a branch." (Proverbs 11:28)
May you be that strong branch that comes forth from the true vine, flourishing and bearing much fruit for Jesus Christ this coming year!
"And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul, that I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain…" Yes! …Bring your latter rain Lord! "Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them" (Deut.11: 13,14,16)
We will stay straight, seek, love and serve the LORD, the One True God in 2009 with all our heart, mind, body, soul and strength. In all of our ways we will acknowledge Him!
I love you all! Continue to pray for Israel. Have a Blessed New Year!
All love in Jesus, ~Kathleen
