After writing a dozen or so songs in Australia, Part of the Romance, was the first song where we felt we had started to find our feet and create a consolidation of elements from our past incorporated with the sound of our future. Part of the Romance is a paean to the power of enthusiasm, ’you get what you put into life’ and all other relevant cliches/sayings apply. After a few months of floundering and frustrations we feel we are now on a dedicated path of creativity. Our army of three are ripe and ready and filled with vim and vigor!

Yay Us!

Conclusions is finished and in the can! Special thanks go out for the sterling efforts of Mike Tayler during recording and Captain Hook for the mastering sessions. We are really stoked with the results and think you will be too!

This week we play some shows with Meat-Bix who are promising some wild crazy madness, from what I hear they have planned it is going to be quite something. In Hamilton at Ward Lane on Friday we'll be joined by The Gills, who feature one our favourite ex-guitarists/ex-drummers Mikey Crook who is a veritable King amongst men. Also on the bill are ex-racecar drummer, SERVO, who be dropping rhymes and beats and beers no doubt. It has been a dream of mine for years to get MC Service up here and I have it on good authority he'll be joined by local scumbags, The Clerics, for some of his set. First but not least on the Bill are local whack-jobbers, Megaheroes.

Saturday we'll be at The Legendary Las Vegas Strip Club. We'll be joined by the sleazy Malenky Luna Dogs, Kittyhawk, and the delightful, Bengal Lights. I'm pretty sure we played at The Bengal Lights first show a while back and I'm keen as to hear these lovely ladies again.

Yeah its gonna be fun, someone might lose an eye...

Take care out there folks,

Matt
