After almost a year of silence Saeculum plays in March 2008 with God Dethroned, the Lucifer Principle and Remains.
Archaes joined to complete the line up for guitar reinforcements.
Vlerk will take up the bass.

For the first time in Saeculum history, Saeculum has to cancell a gig. Due to the absence of several members Saeculum is not able to play the gig with Onheil and Gorath in 'de Oude Danserije' in Roosendaal. Thanks to Onheil, Gorath and de Oude Danserije for booking us. We tried to fill up the hole. Saeculum will now focus on further completion of  writing the debute album, recording it, and completing the live line up again.

Due to the departure of Schoft to Norwegian black metallers Satyricon, who is forfilling his Saeculum-duties with retroactivity, we seek a new Bassplayer.

After years of hard work and commitment to the saecu-cult, first on guitars and later providing bass-quakes, the Sjah of Schmokeystan has found himself in the position in which he won`t be able to strengthen our propaganda apparatus due to obligations to some Norwegian, misanthropic, brothers in arms.
We wish him all the best whilst conquering the world and are grateful for all he has done for us.   Anyone who wants to catch a glimpse of him on stage this summer is advised to go to the Wth Full force festival !

Saeculum is busy recording a promo cd/dvd, to replace the Exordium recordings and to be able to experiment a bit with electronix.  Hopefully this new recording will get us closer to a record deal and ensure a new wave of onstage attacks.
At the moment most drums have been recorded and the guitars are close behind.

Saeculum will perform on the 7th of May with a full line up as support for Marduk in the Nighttown, Rotterdam.

Due to difference in style, Lazaruh choosed to depart from the Saeculum camp. However, he will always be a loyal ally to Saeculum.
Schoft (Brutus) picked up the bassguitar. So Saeculum is still in search of a new second guitar player.
