You may have recently heard that you can send holiday greetings to our soldiers abroad or those recovering at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.  Please read the recent release from the DOD:

Sending Packages/Letters/Donations to "Anyone"
The Department of Defense has changed their policies following the anthrax letters that occurred shortly after 9-11. Here is a link to their news release on the subject:

Adopt a Fort Bragg Soldier:

Fort Bragg's "Adopt A Soldier" program gives the civilian community an opportunity to show their support of deployed Soldiers on an individual and personal basis. The adoption involves sending letters and care packages for the duration of the Soldier's deployment.

A British soldier was shot down while on foot patrol in the Sangin District of Afghanistan on August 20, 2009, serving in the 2nd Battalion of The Duke of Lancaster's Regiment.

The word 'hero' echoed around the cathedral as the story of Serjeant Paul McAleese was told at the funeral. He had been killed as he tried to help an injured comrade. The Serjeant’s fellow soldiers told the family that Paul was such a happy man after the birth of his son Charley.

London’s Daily Mail published a photo of Sjt. McAleese’s widow Joanne, holding their five-month-old son Charley in her arms.

For Charley and all of the sons and daughters of our fallen heroes, I composed a ballad, “The Son of A Soldier”.

Music for Troops has selected Celeste’s song, “A Home Run” as track # 1 on their new compilation CD, “Operation 11.11.09” to be released on Veteran’s Day of 2009 and copies sent to our troops overseas.

Celeste submitted “A Home Run” in honor of her late father, Leo F. Reichert who was a Korean War veteran.

Dear Friends,
I have recently uploaded a music video on YouTube that I wrote and produced for Ellen Degeneres called, “Put Me On Your Show”. I know that she loves animals and I do as well. There are over 50 animals, wild and domestic, who have graced this video with their images. Their eyes say so much about their own lives.

Currently living in desperate times, my goal is to bring those who watch the video a smile or glimmer of hope. If I am invited to perform on Ellen’s show, I hope it will spread even more joy and inspiration.
