All,
The London's Alright CD launch..charity gig tickets are now on sale... They can be purchased from the web site www.londonsalright.co.uk for a very small amount of £10. All proceeds from ticket and door sales will be going to the Pilgrims Hospices in Kent, who care for people of all ages with incurable illnesses. These hospices are free for anyone who requires their services and are run completely by volunteers. The work that they do is truly amazing and requires £6 million a year to operate as successfully as they do. More information on the charity can be found at http://www.pilgrimshospice.org/.
So a little more about the event. It is going to be held on Sunday the 11th November 2007 the Roadhouse in Covent Garden, London. For the past 6 months myself and colleague of Primas Records have been putting together a promotional CD of 8 great london bands. The CD is now ready for promotion and to celebrate this and make money for a fantastic cause we decided to organise a launch..charity fundraiser. The night will consist of 4 bands from the CD each playing a set and then the night will be completed by an excellent set from a proven roadhouse covers band to rock the night away. In between sets we will have DJs and a sponsor for the event should allow everyone a free drink included in their ticket price, this is still To Be confirmed.
For the event to be able to go ahead we need to sell at least 300 tickets by the 11th October so please pass this email on to all your friends who you think might be interested and would not want to miss out on a momentous night of great music for a great cause!!
