Shitskabob! That one's over. Probably one of the best shows only the chosen few chose to attend. Gay Witch Abortion canceled at the last minute and all hell was breaking loose. Then Chuck Kanski of Solo Vino in St. Paul showed up with a couple cases of chilled french rose and Sam Newman of Bulldog NE showed up with a bucket of Italian meatloaf in holy christ mushroom sauce and a big bowl of pita pizza fries and dipping sauce. Oh, did I mention the Yoleus are one of the most talented pile of musicianship in the world and Amen and the Hell Yeahs are on the exact opposite spectrum in technicalities, but made it up in STDs and self-fulfillment.
Those of you that weren't there missed something special
the meat raffle we sold no tickets to
so now I have a free range whole chicken in my fridge
win win
I take back my original intent, please stay home on sunday night and don't eat and drink with us in November for our post-rock post thanksgiving show?

Things going as they are, this idea of a local show filled up with good food, good drink and good music has been one of the more interesting experiences I’ve had in a while. Good things have happened, lots of the unexpected and a myriad of interesting smells.
This last show at Memory Lanes has its own category altogether, the Sefl-Evident brought the noise and Total Fucking Blood tore the roof off, Pat Starr from the Wienery came in and cooked half his menu with nothing but two burners and a sixer, we even had the Hamm’s bear playing Iron Maiden on bass while Corey Shovein handed out free beer.
Bowling for meat was a good idea at first, but gutter balls bring everyone down.
So this is just as good a time as any to talk about what’s going on for the next show, nothing is set in stone right now, but I’m pretty sure Greg Norton is going to come in and cook sooner or later. We’re in talks with members of Superhopper, Zebulon Pike, The Brass Kings and Black Audition right now, so it’s great to know more bands want to be a part of this show.
But I guess the biggest news of all is that on July 28th we’re going to begin our new relationship with favorite local drinking establishment the Triple Rock Social Club, so if you read this and have any good ideas to make the show better, please contact us.
Thanks
Craig
