Spread the Craft is a call for original how-to crafting video submissions for a chance to win a $1000 Grand Prize or a $500 People's Choice Award (plus more goodies, to be determined). This is an exciting opportunity for the crafting community to disseminate crafting ideas/techniques, to win the largest crafting awards available, and to gain notoriety within the community!
Spread the Craft begins May 15th, with a 6 week submission period, ending midnight, June 23rd. Then the videos will be available free on the MindBites website for voting until midnight, July 7th. Winners will be announced on July 8th! The link for the Spread the Craft landing page, below, will not be live until May 15th, about mid-day, to prevent giving any person or group an unfair advantage. So the weather is starting to look and feel more like Spring. You know what that means? I need an outdoor adventure. Maybe even just a day in the park for some frisbee catching :)

I saw the Easter Bunny yesterday! I did an egg hunt and stole all the eggs from the little kids. Alright, I’m kidding! I would never do that. Although, I did have quite an enjoyable Easter Sunday. Life is good .

I’m really digging the new office. There’s tons of space to move about and enough room to breath my own air. ( check out our old place) Man it’s also nice to be so close to so many places to eat, like taco cabana, jimmy johns, and mcdonalds. We’ve been trying to think of some ways to decorate the new office. I’ll let you know how that goes...

Today MindBites pushed past another important milestone. We moved into actual office space. Man it feels good to be accelerating at high speeds into the unknown. We thought about a group hug today before we officially left our old digs but then voted against it. No reason just because.
So now we begin a new chapter of our great start-up life. How we will ever adapt to a new space? I was starting to think that maybe we were becoming one with the carport.
Although I don’t sound excited, I am. Just post SXSW mind mush at the moment. :)

Man there sure is a lot to be thankful for this year. Besides wonderful family, brilliant friends, great health and a lifetime of sweet memories- MindBites is kicking butt out there in web land. It is times like these when we can take a step back and realize what a charmed life we lead. We need to make a MindBite on how to give thanks each and every day and not just on Thanksgiving.
