Camp Day 3: So the last day of our camp has come and passed and it was great. We started off on good, ol' Decker Lake and we had pretty good water...although the day was living up to our team name "Partly To Mostly Cloudy (P2MC).
We headed to our usually spot, a long a reed lined shore, but there were several fishing boats there. After making a few runs our wake politely suggested that this was not the best place to fish!!
Everyone excel at their tricks and I was happy to see improvement in them all. Taylor perfected his power slide and practiced handle passes doing blind surface 180's, he also landed several wake to wake jumps with the rope at 65 feet. Megan continue to improve on her wake to wake and once again demostrated her ability to ride switched better then anyone. Kaitlyn continues to improve her riding and is showing better comfort on the board, she is taking risks and it is paying off! Daniel started working on ollies and surface 180's, he has all the ethusiasm needed to board...just got to walk before you run Daniel-San! Aubry was able to join us for this final day and once again demonstrated how much fun you can have wakeboarding...I don't think I have ever seen her frown!
Finally, we called it a day and headed for a burger and fires for lunch. From there it was on to the house for a course in Texas Boater Safety and an evening of Guitar Hero, Halo 2 and fajitias.
The camp was a great success and I look forward to wakeboarding more with my crew...
