To anyone who bought  The Shitty Listener-Crying Sweater or is interested in the release,

Michael Northam didn't just produce the recording he also PLAYED all over it. I  made the mistake ( when putting all the insert info together ) of failing to include him on the roster.
He's also featured quite a bit on You start Fights, the new Shitty L. 3'' inch coming out this fall .

TPK was in Berlin this last weekend and we recorded a ton of new stuff.

Now let's see how long it takes to get this out.
Whatever the case,  there should be something for everyone out there what with the new TPK single, Knut Hamsun, out on Captured Tracks (Brooklyn) and with Games for Slaves still lingering in your nostrils .

A full length CD, The Crying Sweater, will appear courtesy of Rural Fauna in Anger.
Seems like it'll be out soonish. Label sent it off to print( Australia) and is currently waiting on it's proud return home.
 

The Brussels show was great and I'm currently working on Norway and Finland. Looks like a Helsinki date for the 14th of March is just about firmed up.

Another Shitty L. document, Constant Stranger, is also in the works....

A new, NEW Shitty Listener full length CD, Crying Sweater, will be released by Rural Fauna hopefully within the year. Also watch for a SL greatest hits( not called that of course but that's the general idea) within the year as well.

 

The Rural Fauna disc features pithy cameos and performances by the likes of Michael Northam and Johu Hotanen, Benjamin Aman among others ...

 

Currently working on a Finnish show as well as trying to get to Poland.

The Shitty L. will be in Poland over the weekend ( 10.23.08-10 26.08) recording and collecting new material for future shows and releases .

France blazed: The wines, Skies, the ruined eyes.

I got a little worried in Nantes but Polder made it feel like a page out of Hate so I just spun my swords and watched the toll .

 

Angers surprised us both  the most (I think.). As our admiring audience grew and  then pulsed at  ''gosh-wow '' levels we decorated and decorated til no red leaves were left . Cassettes are the most accurate- no stove piping and they always give the listener the impression that there's something additional back there  in the soup making noise as well.

 

I'd like to go back !
