Hi Folks. I've not used Myspace to post a blog for a while. Noticed I'm still getting quite a few people reading my old posts. I've got my official blog at stevebeck.co.uk but lately I've been getting into Twitter.com. If you're a user too follow me at http://twitter.com/stevejbeck. Sxx

OK, so In Rainbows is still my most listened to album this year. I think they must've put some sorta weird sub-conscious hypnotism interweaved into this album as it's always in my mind. It was starting to make me feel bad that I'd only played a quid for the download as I was definitely getting WAY more than my value for money. But then they announced the tour... well I had to go to that. So I ordered 2 tickets for me and Lisa - that cost near £100 after order fees etc. ...and then they announced that the diskbox was about to be discontinued and once the last of them have shipped out of the warehouse that was it: no more re-pressings or re-releases. So, knowing the potential rarity value of it I HAD to buy one of those too. So that's another £40 .... except I accidently bought 2 of them cos I didn't check my basket after my browser crashed during check out!...so that's actually £80 I'd spent!!!! Solution? Ebay! My conclusion to this is that although a lot of people were thinking 'wow, Radiohead are gonna lose out of lots of money cos everyone's bought the download for free!' it turns out that if I were an average Radiohead fan then there will be millions more like me who would either have bought a ticket, a diskbox, or both! And Radiohead are still the world's biggest unsigned band so all the money goes to them, not the record company! I'd say that they've made a fuckin' mint!!!

Yep, that's right folks. My friends have been banging on about Facebook for a good couple of months and I've resisted the temptation to see what it's all about. Although I remember looking at it about a year ago and dicovered that I had to register to do ANYTHING and I thought "Nah, that's not as good as Myspace" But now I've registered because a lot of my friends don't get on with Myspace and I found that pretty darn good! I'm not ditching Myspace, btw. I still have a fond place in my heart for it. I can forgive the 'unexpected errors', I can look over the really gaudy profiles. I mean, at least with Myspace you can make your profile look unique and personal. Yeah, sure it gives people the opportunity to make truly awful profiles that make your eyes bleed - a bit like the early days of the internet... geocities littered with horrible tiled backgrounds and animated gifs of skulls and flames or whatever. But to some people who know what they're doing they can make really pleasing profiles. Not cluttered, not garish and not aesthetically offensive. Anyway, if you've got a facebook profile, look me up, add me and say hi. My profile's here... http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=611266413See you on the other side

Right now, this is just a quick post to tell you all about a new feature from my band. I'm really excited about it. It's a new YouTube channel called Blind Voyeurs TV or BVTV for short.
For more information read Blind Voyeurs blog post HERE.
Subscribe to their blog to keep up to date with all the latest gossip.
peace x

I copied and pasted this from Atomicbarbi3's page...Here is how you get rid of the "tracker comment". In cas eyou don't know what this is it will look like this...
If you use firefox switch over to interenet explorer temp to use the code.
If you're using Internet Explorer:
1. Go to "Edit/View All Comments" from your profile.
2. From there count down the comments starting from ZERO
If it's the very first comment, paste this code in your browser address bar:
javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$Main$PagedComments$viewComments$commentRepeater$ctl00$deleteLinkButton', '')
If its the third comment use this code in your address bar: javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$Main$PagedComments$viewComments$commentRepeater$ctl02$deleteLinkButton', '')
In order, the comment numbers are: 1 - javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$Main$PagedComments$viewComments$commentRepeater$ctl00$deleteLinkButton', '')
2 - javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$Main$PagedComments$viewComments$commentRepeater$ctl01$deleteLinkButton', '')
3 - javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$Main$PagedComments$viewComments$commentRepeater$ctl02$deleteLinkButton', '')
4 - javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$Main$PagedComments$viewComments$commentRepeater$ctl03$deleteLinkButton', '')
5 - javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$Main$PagedComments$viewComments$commentRepeater$ctl04$deleteLinkButton', '')
6 - javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$Main$PagedComments$viewComments$commentRepeater$ctl05$deleteLinkButton', '')
7 - javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$Main$PagedComments$viewComments$commentRepeater$ctl06$deleteLinkButton', '')
8 - javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$Main$PagedComments$viewComments$commentRepeater$ctl07$deleteLinkButton', '')
9 - javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$Main$PagedComments$viewComments$commentRepeater$ctl08$deleteLinkButton', '')
10 - javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$Main$PagedComments$viewComments$commentRepeater$ctl09$deleteLinkButton', '')
11 - javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$Main$PagedComments$viewComments$commentRepeater$ctl10$deleteLinkButton', '')
12 - javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$Main$PagedComments$viewComments$commentRepeater$ctl11$deleteLinkButton', '')
etc etc.....
Copy and paste only one code at a time and use the entire red code text for the specific numbered comment.

So, I'm gonna start learning to drive this year.... well, HOPING to anyway. Which means I'll need to get a provisional driving licence. This meant I had to get my mugshot from one of those lovely machines that make you look like a serial killer! Now I've got this far I'll have to fill out the application form. God I hate forms. I'll probably never get round to this for another 2 months or so knowing me.I'm in two minds when it comes to driving. On one hand, I'd love to be able to have my own car and the freedom to go where I want when I want in my own personal space. And to be able to carry my band stuff around to gigs or whatever. And to not rely so much on Lisa and take turn driving places. But the other half of me wants to prevent adding yet another car onto our already over-crowded roads, not contribute to the ever increasing build up of smog. It will make me lazy and fat. It'll also make me skint cos of all the road tax, MOT, petrol etc etc. It's not like I can afford to live at the moment WITHOUT a car!Decisions decisions....

I know I know, I'm a day late! Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to post yesterday as I was too busy at work and then straight after work I went to Lisa's. So, to apologise I've decided to put up 6 (yes SIX) photo's today. What you see above is the thumbnails. Clicking on each will take you to the full sized picture. (You can also view the Flickr photoset HERE.) This 6 picture special basically reflects my daily morning routine! Wake up late; find I have no milk (go to the shop to get milk); make breakfast with cereal I wish I hadn't bought; switch on the TV to find nothing worth watching so I stick on a DVD; have a shave (I hate doing that); go to work late! I'm so glad we have weekends!

Well, it was only yesterday that I was saying that it is still hot and then look what happens. Today was such a frosty day it was unbelievable. It took everybody by surprise. I had to dig out the wooly hat and scarf and wear a jumper and coat to work today. I guess I must've been tempting fate yesterday!
Anyway, this photo! Why did I take it? This was more of an experiment than anything else. I was hold the camera at arms length and took the shot randomly as I was walking with my arms down at my side - y'know in a normal walking manner - and this was one of the results. I actually quite like it. It gives a sense of unease by the angle - a bit like the old Batman TV series used to. Terry Gilliam uses the same technique to make things look like something's not right or to increase the sense of insanity in a scene.
