Grimace Federation Live at North Star Bar November 26th

.. --> postMetadata -->

Though probably guilty by association because of their many friendly relationships with artists on the jam band scene, Grimace Federation continue to take the stage making high-quality experimental music that sounds more along the lines of Chicago post-rockers Tortoise but with moments of a harder rock edge. Whether Grimace Federation show up as a trio, quintet or sextet or just decide to have some friends join them on stage, they consistently rain down a sonic assault on their audience that leaves even your pickiest hipsters nodding their heads with approval (or at least grunting apathetically that they didn't hate them). Led by the versatile guitar work of Wes Schwartz and one of the finest up-and-coming drummers in the Philadelphia music scene Christopher "C Dubbs" Wood, Grimace Federation will be performing this Wed. Nov. 26th at North Star Bar with our favorite 14-piece gypsy music caravan West Philadelphia Orchestra. - Q.D. Tran
