After 4 long years, 100's of shows, 2 or 3 line-up changes, a bunch of tours and some records, we're calling it quits. We'd like to thank every single band/person that played with us, booked us, put us up, fed us and just partied down with us. We'd like to especially thank: Bryon and Kiss Of Death, Dave Disorder, Tiltwheel, I Farm, Maztugoru Records and everyone who supported us. Our album, "Dumps Luck" was recently released on LP. Pick it up and support K.O.D., don't think it will be repressed again. The Tiltwheel split 7" is out of print, but we still have some copies over at dead broke rekerds. The I Farm split will still be coming out.


We've recently started a new band, JONESIN' that will be taking over dumps duties including local shows, releases and the Shang-a-lang tour. We will be playing a few dumps songs on the road, but mainly new stuff. This is a fresh start. I've also been playing in a new band with some Queens buddies too, Get Bent.

" on saturday night down in the dumps played their last show for a long while. it was probably one of the most classic dumps performances i've ever seen and i had the time of my life watching it. everyone who was at this show and stayed til 3 in the morning for the "encore" (which was the best thing in the world)...you all make going to shows worthwhile.
over the past two years dumps have been one of my favorite bands. not only do they always do so much for the music community in long island, putting together awesome shows and bringing together so many good friends, they also remind me of why i love music so much and why i'm so involved in all of this to begin with. and it doesn't hurt that they're also the greatest guys ever. thanks dumps!

Hey! were taking a month or so off right now to write some new songs. we are touring down to the fest in gainesville and playing some pre-parties around gainesville. If you can help us out, let us know!!!

We just got added to a J Church/Cringer tribute comp. coming out to benefit Lance's medical bills. were really excited to be on this comp, it's a great cause with some great bands like: The Queers, Weakerthans, A Radio with guts, the Parasites, Radon, Off with their heads, Banner Pilot, Stressface, Teenage Bottlerocket, Zoinks!, Groucho Marxists, A.V. Club, the Bollweevils, the Peabodys more. It's gonna be a double cd on no idea records, in collabration with a bunch of other labels. awesome shit.

the Down in the dumps / Tiltwheel split 7" is now coming out on Tampa's A.D.D. Records, home of some great fucking bands. SHIT'S TIGHT! Should be out, hopefully soon! Cassette version of 7" on dead broke rekerds too!

A short tour to Canada in January with I Farm, and a month or so long tour to the west coast and back this spring. HELP US  IN YOUR TOWN!

in the meantime, I'll be booking some good shows for touring bands, so come out and see some good shit. we have T-shirts and cds left (once these are gone, theyre out of print forever). you can get them and other cool stuff from dead broke rekerds:
