I've been enjoying a few days off to rest, catch up and help others recoup from the H1N1 thing. Doesn't mean that I haven't been busy. This extra time allowed me to catch up with Steve Lindsley of the local radio station NewsRadio 1190 KEX.
He invited me in to do an interview with him and I was happy to. We recorded it earlier this week and from what I hear I am in good company as he has also interviewed Storm Large and Lana Veenker. I was flattered to say the least.
This morning I received an email from Steve with the details of when my interview will air. I am curious and anxious to know how it turned out.

Well I may have caught the “ick” bug that seems to be going around, but that doesn’t stop life from moving forward. Even if all I want to do is curl up in bed with my heating blanket and sleep. It seems that “The Waiting List” has been accepted into yet another film festival. It will be screening at the Washougal International
Film Festival in August. So clear your calendars because I want to see you there.

 I completed another lead role in the upcoming feature film comedy “ Crackin’ the Code”. It was written and directed by Steve Coker. I just found out that the film is now an official selection of the ‘09 Egypt International Film Festival in Cairo. The festival takes place in April and I am so excited “ Crackin’ the Code” has been chosen to screen there. Hopefully it will be the first of many festivals to come for this film. |

Last summer I completed a lead role in a feature film titled "The Waiting List". It was written and directed by Mike Vogel. I have just heard that it has been officially selected to be one of 10 films that will be screened at the Phoenix Film Festival. The other films in the competition are: Adventures of Power Calling It Quits Corpse Run Gotta Dance Homeland Lightbulb Shooting Beauty The Way We Get
"The Waiting List" has a blog and you can follow along on the progress by clicking here... Frontave.com. "The Waiting List" is about a group of parents spend the night in a preschool classroom in order to get their kids on the enrollment list. A few stay up late and talk about all the things parents think but never say out loud. In the midst of all this straight talk and honesty, one mother schemes to get her name off the waiting list. I play the pregnant mother, aptly named "Audrey" in the film.
