Years ago I found something out about myself....I found out that I have a fine pallet for the drink. Not just any drink, yes I'm referring to the good stuff from wine to the best import beer and liquor and O' yes, the shit too, more so when I was younger, mind you!! After a while my genetic coding got thrown into overdrive and all the my screaming alcoholic little ancestors started punching through the paper bag that was my tolerance..However!! that did not stop me from drinking and doing drugs. Yes, drugs came just as natural as drinking and my taste for drugs were even more well, expensive...And they took an even higher toll on me, pardon the pun. I'm not going to go through the trials and tribulations of my abuse with you....It would fill a book and when I write that, I want to get paid.. I'm writing this to help me in some ways..One . I messed up and spent too much money that I shouldn't have the bar the other night.. Two. I have little nephews and little cousins that are susceptible to the same afflictions that I have!! It's in our blood some more than other's but its there!! I have to think about the way I am.. I'm grounding myself from drinking for a long time. See for me its easier to say " not today" " and I'll say that every day..and I'll probably say that everyday. -Brett
