Hello friends old and new. So Giovan and I want to keep you all more informed on what is going on
with us on a personal level and as a band. So we are going to be journaling 2 to 4 times a month.
Hopefully at least once a week if time permits. So make sure to subscribe to our blogs and keep
checking the page for any updates.
So Giovan and I live in a great little Neighborhood named Silver Lake in Los Angeles California. A
neighborhood known for it's creative class, great coffee shops, delicious restaurants, stylish vintage
stores, and amazing indie mom & pop boutique's. In the last 20 years many lengandary musicians
have come to call Silver Lake home. Those musicians include The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beck, Rilo
Kiley, Tom Waits, Beth Hart, and Elliot Smith to name a few. We Love it here! But unfortunately a few
weeks ago our home was robbed. Over the last few months Giovan and I have been demoing our new
record here at home and were coming close to finished. Sadly the thieves took our computers, ipods,
gaming systems, plasma's, and jewelry. Our whole new album was taken with it. But thank God we
have a happy ending. We are blessed with amazing loving people around us. Our roommate who was
robbed as well had a birthday the coming week and got a bunch of our friends together to give him
money for his birthday to buy us a new computer. Amazing! So with the love and help of Bryan Kinney,
friends, our dad, and God we were able to replace the stolen computer and start working on the new
record again. We are extremely excited! So stay tuned for new tunes in the coming months.
Yesterday was a big day. Im sure many of you share a list of people that you would like to meet sometime
in your life. Well I work at a high end clothing store in Los Angeles and I have met a few on my list but
yesterday around 2pm pacific time I met number one on my list. His name is Thom Yorke and he is the lead
singer of the world famous Radiohead. Living in a busy and influential city like Los Angeles has it's perks. I
heard that he was in town the last few weeks rehearsing for a list of shows to play "the eraser" album along
with other new tunes. So he came in to my store and I was able to meet him and assist him in the mens de-
partment finding clothes. Epic! He was a nice man and to my surprise we were the same size. HaHa. Now, I
can tell my kids when I have kids, that October 4th, 2009 was the day that I met the legendary Thom Yorke.
The neat part is that my buddy bought me a ticket to Thom's show tonight downtown at the Orpheum. Im
sure that it will be amazing!
We are teaming up with a few local artist for a Benefit show this saturday night in hollywood if you would like
to join. We will be doing an acoustic set. It benefits a few friends of ours who are traveling to Ethiopia to encour-
age and help out an orphanage for the organization Rainbow Ethiopia. We'll have the information up on our show
section ASAP. So check back soon.
Well, that's it for now. Take care and write to us. Thank you for supporting us. There has been more interest in
the band as of late. Thank you. Keep it going and spread the word. We'll see you soon!
