Well, it has been reasonably quiet here in NTW land, a couple of weeks off while Greggy was in WA on holidays and we are back into it.
We have an absolute cracker of a gig coming up on 8th May at the Arty with Screwtop Detonators, Burn the City and Daughters of the Rich so we are hard at work refining the set for maximum rock impact.....
We have now laid down some guide tracks for the album, so progress is being made! There are 5 songs ready for Dyfan to lay down drums on and we are still doing lots of writing.
Keep an eye out for a pre production version of one of the new songs-I may add it in a week or two if you all behave.
See you at the Arty! We will be on 9.00pm on the dot.

Well, we have just finished a two month break due to a bit of illness on Kim's part and some travelling for Scott and Greg. ( I can highly recommend Thailand this time of year and apparently Greggy had a ripper of a time on 'Nam).

We have been busy though, a bunch of new songs coming through which we are really excited about. They sound a bit different to our last EP but are still undeniably NTW....I like to think we are maturing as songwriters but we are probably just getting old and can't play as fast anymore...

We are about to start booking some shows for this coming summer and are hoping to start work on a full length album early next year with an anticipated release date of June next year....if all goes well.

We will be appearing on a new Punk compilation due out this summer-it is being put together by Shane from Embrace Death Now and will be awesome. There will be a tour to support the release so stay tuned for news on that one!

Anyhoo, this is more news than we have posted in the entire history of the band and I am pooped.....need a lie down now.

A lot's been happening with None The Wiser since I last sent an update.

Our new EP "Seal The Deal" is completed and will be available from www.fist2face.com.au, Missing Link & www.nonethewiser.com.au from Saturday 5 May... this Saturday!!

The first track on the EP "Murder Was The Suitcase" has been played on Triple J's Home N Hosed & short.fast.loud with Home N Hosed also playing track #4 "Carltons & No-Doze"

3RRR, PBS & SYN FM have also been getting into the act playing track number 2 "Sea Floor"

I kind of feel sorry for track 3 "South Of France" & track 5 "No Console"... but what can ya do?

I'll tell you what you can do! Call/sms/email any of the above radio establishments and tell them you want more None The Wiser.

EP LAUNCH

We're launching the EP Friday 11 May at The Spanish Club, 59-61 Johnston St, Fitzroy w The King City Seven, Sneako & G Pop. Doors at 8.30pm and we'll be on stage around 11.30pm

In other news the EP launch will be all bass playing all singing Shaun Scanlan's last gig with the band. Make sure you get along to send him off in style.

Ok it's been 3 months since i've posted anything so i figure it's time for an update...

Our guitarist Scott is getting married next weekend so Greg, Dyfan & I all went paintballing for his bucks day last Saturday. Good times were had by all, I shot the fuck out of Greg and Dyfan got dominated by just about everyone.

Hopefully the wedding goes well, I find that most weddings are fun due to the abundance of free alcohol!

Anyways the EP has been mastered and photographs have been taken, should have the finished copy in our hot little hands by the end of this month.

Look out for a launch gig in late March/early April.

What's been happening?
Just wanted to let youse all know that we've finished tracking our new EP and are in the middle of mixing...6 tracks in total and we reckon they're coming along nicely.
