G'day folks,

CREECH. are on a bit of a well earned late year breather right now. It's been a tough journey over the last 2 years or so, and we needed just a few weeks time out.
The respite will be brief, however! 2010 looks like being full of activity! Firstly, we need to announce that we have a new player in the band, bassist/vocalist Sarah 'Sarox' Martin. Sarah has her own band 'Cloud City', who are awesome, and she brings to CREECH. excellent vocal ability, enthusiasm and networking capabilities. As well as great four string skills of course! Welcome to the fold, Sarah!
Secondly, our album 'Away from Home' WILL be released in 2010, along with all new videos to go along with our award winning 'Lazy - Doofwars Episode 1' video. Much touring and frivolity will accompany the releases of course!
Thanks for your support throughout 2009, and we'll see you in the first year of the new decade!

It has been announced this week that CREECH. has won the Australian Independent Music Video Awards 'Video of the Year' award, for it's groundbreaking CGI video for 'Lazy- Doof Wars Part One'! We are very proud to accept this award, and thank everyone for their help and support over the tough last year and a half.
Extra special congratulations go to our singer Taz Cebula, who worked on the video whilst recovering from life threatening cancer last year and early 2009. The hard work has paid off!
The most exciting thing about it is that Lazy is just the start, there is to be a series of videos in this saga, and work has already commenced on 'Doof Wars Part II'. The next video will be released in conjunction with the launch of the CREECH. album 'Away From Home' in the first half of next year. We can't wait to bring this to you!

Plenty happening in the CREECH. camp recently. Firstly, CREECH. and Bassist Mick Read have decided to part ways. The split is completely amicable, and we wish Mick all the very best of success in his musical and personal endeavours in the future. CREECH. will begin a search for a new bassist very shortly (so if you know any good bassists, or are one yourself, let us know!). In the meantime, we continue to play shows unabated.
Whilst on that, we have recently hooked up with an excellent band from Kiwiland called 'Ross Royce', and we play Ruby's Lounge in Melbourne's east on November the 28th. Check them out at: http://www.myspace.com/rossroyce.
And last but by no means least, news on the Lazy video clip. It has kinda been everywhere lately, racking up lots of hits on Youtube and via the profile here, it's been on Channel 31 and is currently running on Beat TV. And has had 3 runs on National TV in the last week and a half, twice on Rage and tonight on Channel V. Please vote for the clip here:

RAGE!!

Just letting everyone know that the clip to 'Lazy - Doof Wars Part One' makes it's national TV debut tonight on Rage, on ABC TV. Tune in and check it out, will be a nice occasion for us! G'day folks. Roddy here, just writing to you, very excited and happy to announce that the new video clip for the single 'Lazy' is finally here!

Worked on painstakingly by Taz during his period of recovery from life threatening cancer, it has been a year and a half in the making. We launched it at Revolver a week and a half ago to rapturous applause, and now it's up here on our Myspace and on Youtube for our thousands of millions of fans who couldn't make it to Revolver! :-)

It's actually going to be the first in a series of themed videos we are going to do for the forthcoming album, 'Away from Home'. So stay tuned and watch this space! We think it's going to be very exciting to watch it all unfold!

CREECH. would like to say a massive thanks to all those who came out to support us last night. You made our evening grand, and much much fun! And we very much hope to see you all again very soon! The album will out soon, and so we'll launch it at that time.

Next engagement, however, is our next show, The Excelsior Hotel in Surry Hills in Sydney. Can't wait!

At long last, the first glimpse of CREECH.'s 'Away From Home' album is here!  First single 'Lazy' is now up on the Myspace page for your listening enjoyment. I'm sure you'll agree it's a quirky piece, but hopefully very catchy at the same time. And if you like the song, just WAIT til you see the video! We'll be putting teasing moments of the video up on here shortly.
And of course, to those of you within reasonable vicinity of Melbourne, don't forget we are launching both at Revolver Upstairs, 229 Chapel St Prahran, on the 14th of August, with very able bodied support coming from our great mates DLG, the mighty Winterun and Metal madmen Spasticator. Just a quick note to say we are WAY looking forward to getting back to ROCK the beautiful city of Churches next weekend! We haven't been over that way for a few years, and it's about time we got back there! Can't wait to meet the guys from Imogen Brave, Raging Wireless and Blistered Palms, and of course all you SA Rock fans! Should be a fun night! The Enigma Bar will be ROCKING this evening! Just don't talk to me if you're a Crows or Port fan!

The seemingly interminable wait for the debut album from CREECH., 'Away from Home', is almost over. Quirky first single 'Lazy' will be launched at Revolver Upstairs in Chapel St., Prahran, on Friday, the 14th of August. The eye-popping video to accompany the single will have it's debut public viewing on the night. It's set to be something very special, so please DON'T MISS IT! A few glimpses of the video have already been seen on our gig flyers, and watch out for more teasers on here and Youtube very soon.
