Unfortunately our time with Yiaggi in They? has come to an end. This is due to musical reasons, however the decision was made on good terms and agreed by all as the right way forward...

As a band we understand if people are going to be upset and think that we enjoy doing this kind of thing, in some sort of sick and twisted way but this cannot be further from the truth. The band came millimetres from exploding but decided to carry on as giving up is the easy option.

We want to thank Yiaggi for all his hard work with us, he has been completely awesome, and will continue to help us out with our website and organising gigs, please know there is NO bad feeling here, Yiaggi is loved.

26th March 2006 Brighton Freebutt

The recording of the They? live DVD saw the Brighton Freebutt fill up sufficiently to successfully support They?s first venture into the audio/visual world. Support comes from Everyone to the Anderson and Without Thought, whos respective, Stoner and Emo rock warmed the audience to something like simmering anticipation. And duly gratified this anticipation was. From the word go, They? Demonstrate their musical prowess over their contemporaries and audience delivering a hard blend of tight grooves, soaring vocal melodies and above all bludgeoning riffs that leaves the Freebutt after 35 minutes, in a state of punch-drunk delirium. Final track, Smiling Killer smashes in like the knockout blow of a heavy weight title fight and has a similar effect on the audience. Spinning wildly out of control the mosh pit erupts like a miniature volcano flailing arms, legs, spit and sweat frantically round the room. It takes just half a dozen songs for They? to exhaust the crowd, so shattered but satisfied they skulk off into the sea mist and wait in anticipation for the release of the DVD.
