THS keeping up with the sudden barrage of news and outrage regarding the release of Al-Megrahi and his return to Libya.  Old news for THS, who attempted to draw attention to international oil dealings in Libya in January 2005.  For now, we limit our thoughts on the meaning of the moral outrage in print expressed by so many regarding the release of the "Lockerbie bomber" to this: So we were all cool with things before Al-Megrahi was released? Who will now be served by Libya's return to center stage.... what enterprise? 

C'mon now, let's try to keep up this time. Maybe paying actual journalists to perform actual journalism for actual news media to be published in timely high profile pieces might be useful at this juncture and going forward -- having missed the boat during the Bushmedia Era.  And as so many continue to profit from skating the info-lag.

We are in the studio late summer beginning to record our fourth album, or EP, or amuse bouche.  More to say as the story unfolds and the Kraken is released.  We're incorporating new songs into the Delayer live set to keep things green.

Was that "Morning Exercise" on the show Royal Pains, "The Honeymoon's Over" episode? Yes, indeed. The song had a bit part.  The unruly artist with the heart condition was listening to "Morning Exercise" while painting when his extremely sensible doctor showed up at the studio and shut it off right after "....a story of sedation."

Friday's "Best of the Bay" show hosted by the East Bay Express with The Uptown Nightclub was one of the best events we've ever played.  For such a huge event it was fun, well run, in the sun, and all for the sons and daughters of Oakland.  Thanks, homeys.

The SXSW Heavenly States schedule has spoken (see show times above). There will be much nooness in the tune domain, though we are willing to play our old shit too.  See you in Oss.

Old Pizza Fetishist (old referring to the pizza, not the fetishist) speaks up about his portrayal in the Heavenly States slideshow "A Year or Two in the Life of The Heavenly States" (posted below). We stand corrected. It is not possible to maintain two equally energized libidinal cathexes at once, in the opinion of the fetishist. It's either "a beans thing" or "an old pizza" thing; you may not have your beans and eat your pizza too. 

Is it just us or does anyone see the resemblance? Anya Marina rocked Jimmy Kimmel last week. We got up early to watch the Hynde-Benatar love child who was both sly and fly.

Really? We just found out yesterday we’ll be featured on a music video/film/commercial to air during the Grammys. THS thanks Project Rising Stars, Gary Calamar and KCRW(!), more people that we don’t even know about, and the Filmaka finalists for picking “The Race” (Delayer). Way to sneak us in through the back doe yo.
