Hello! Hopefully this message finds you well.

A few things of business to cover. First, we have posted two new songs to our myspace page! Well, not new songs, but they are new to myspace. So please give a listen to "Backtracking" and "Dependence" and let us know what you think. As always, if you like what you hear, both songs are available for download on iTunes and all of your other favorite downloading sites.

Secondly, it's update time (which we've obviously offered very little of lately, sorry for that!). Recently Shinky has been directing all of their efforts to writing new material. It's going very well, and we recently finished a new song that we can't wait to get recorded for everyone to hear. However, shows for the next little bit are going to be few and far between. Kyle has recently moved down to Nashville, TN to attend school for audio engineering, so that is obviously going to make things tough logistically. In addition, Michael and his beautiful wife Vanessa are expecting their first child within a month (she's due at the end of April)! Crazy stuff, but equally exciting.

Needless to say, things are busy on the Shinky front right now. But rest assured that we'll be writing and recording in the mean time, and we'll be back before you know it rocking your collective faces and / or socks off. Thanks for sticking with us. Hello everyone! We've gotten a lot of great feedback on the two new songs, so first of all, thank you for that. A lot of people have been asking about downloading the song 50/11. Well since we're in such a giving mood, we've decided to make 50/11 available for free download on our myspace page from now (9/4) until the end of the weekend (9/7)! Remember, this is a one time deal, so don't wait.


If you're interested in downloading the rest of our new EP called "Like Flames," it is up on iTunes, as well as most other downloading services now. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to send us a message. We'd be happy to hear from you.

Hey team, we need your help. We need you to vote for us to the chance to play with Fall Out Boy when they come to Indianapolis in June. It is finally here! Today marks the release date of our new CD/EP on Platinum Plus Records. We're really excited to get this out to you all and can't wait to hear what you think. We have spent a lot of time on this project and we are extremely happy with the final product. For now, you can order a copy here online. Hello to all, Shinky lives. Well it has been some time since we have updated the site, but we happy to announce some good news. We will be releasing an EP consisting of five songs on Platinum Plus Records. Four of the tracks are re-mastered songs from the recently released "Forgive, Forget, Repeat" and one of the tracks is a brand new song.  The CD's are being manufactured right now and we'll let you know when and how you can get a hold of them as soon as we find out.  We want to thank everyone at Hallco Productions and Capitol Management for all of their hard work on this project.  For now you can check out a few songs from the CD on this site or our purevolume site. More to come soon, stay tuned...
