"Interesting Music For Boing People"

Last November I started working on my first full-length album. This October, just shy of a year later, it will finally be released. "Interesting Music For Boring People" holds 11 new songs produced by Kevin Dailey at The Blue Room in Nashville Tennessee and was recorded, mixed and mastered between November 2008 and May 2009.

Dear Friends,

   I was recently asked by a good friend, Stephen Christian, if I would join him for a tour this July 5th-25th. He (Anchor & Braille) is releasing his first LP, "felt" on August 4th (It's fantastic by the way). This will be his first tour with the new record. I will be backing him up with a little guitar, piano and vocal. I might even be playing a tune of my own here or there. The tour will be headlined by Copeland and supported along with Anchor & Braille by Barcelona, Sherwood and Meese.

On november 7th, 8th and 9th, I began recording what I had originally planned on being, an EP. However, throughout the course of the weekend, we (jamie dick, josh hitson, kevin dailey, paul pagett) recorded a couple more than we had planned. So...this got us thinking..."why not make a full length...we're not short of material." Just like that...there were new dates on the calendar to go back into the blue room to finish up this record. We recorded 80% of the record in a live, take for take format. It has been so much fun working with these guys. Kevin and Paul are engineering and really...co-producing this record with me. Although...I gotta say...the whole band has really taken ownership over the project and everyones creativity will be heard when its finished. So keep your ears tuned...we're shooting for a late february release. itunes, compact disc, hell...maybe some wax will be involved.
