This is my version of the Black National Anthem. Again, just me and my guitar.  I made a lot of mistakes but the take still has the feel I was looking for.  Gotta keep practicin and this is going to be a BIG song for me.  Also, the barking at the end is actually my dog.  Enjoy!

Take my Time is my anthem.  No question about that.  It is the catchiest and most 'feel-good' song I have.  I hope it is an inspiration to everyone who has ever had a dream.  I recorded this in one take sitting in front of my computer.  The sound quality is not great but I love the feel of the song (even though I messed up the ending and the solo).  Enjoy!  And please tell your friends because I'm going to need millions of votes to win this Making the Next Hit reality show.

So I got a little angry about some statements made by some people I know about how Iraq needs us to bring Jesus to that region and black people should be grateful that we were taken from Africa so that we could know Jesus and it was ok for the original Americans to commit holocaust on the natives because in the Bible, it says that God sometimes ordered the destruction of entire groups of people.  So I wrote this song called Change the World.  I am not anti-christian.  I am not against all christian ideals.  I just hate when religion becomes intolerance.  The idea that one religion is all truth and all other religions are basically all lies often causes even well meaning people to sin against their neighbor.
