Want to win the sticks and snare drumheads used by MikeE on the Through my Eyes EP?  That's the actual two drumheads and a pair of sticks used by MikeE. The sticks are a pair of Shawstix 5BN and heads are a Premier SD Extra Sensitive Batter and a Premier SD Snare resonant, both used on Mike's Premier P1 snare drum on the recordings.

The sticks are quite worn, but should still be OK for extracting DNA so you can grow your very own MikeE, the batter head is well....battered and snare side split during the recording. He's such a brute!

It's a one off, a one of a kind. So you best get entering!!!

So where have we been and what the fuck have we been up to?...... Hmmmm where to start?

Firstly, but in no particular order we have snuck in almost unannounced our new and sexy bassist, Delilah Black.

So I must take this opportunity to formaly introduce her to you and welcome her to AOD, Delilah's first gig with us will be at the launch for the new EP on April 22nd at Koko in Camden. Talk about break her in easy! As it's expected the event will sell out so we are looking at 1500 plus peeps there........

Not to mention we have and amazing new sponsor on board Andy Blake from the Morbid Mask Studio, who make prosthetics and film props. Andy also runs www.monster-boutique.com who will be supplying all our make up. Oh and Andy is making me 5 foot wingspan Demon wings for the launch gig :

So you have to be there just to see them! Dont worry if you are in the USA you can either fly over :-) or await the pics up here!

Weds was my birthday and had an amazing surprise in the guise of Missy taking me to the cinema with a brief stop at The Dev for much needed refreshements.Only to find the Band, Steve Lyon and friends waiting with balloons, party poppers and far to much alcohol, suffice to say the cinema didn't beckon but a serious hangover reared it's ugly head the next morning which was interesting at rehearsals! As was staying up to 5am after much alcohol to finish the artwork for the following days deadline, thats what you get for deciding to do the artwork yourself, weeks in fucking photshop editing and tweeking, but even tho I say myself it looks just absolutely awesome! :-)

Not that I haven't gone on about it enough, but the Ep (apart from the amazing artwork) is in a 4 page Digi pack with a 12 page limited edition booklet, 7 trks at 34 mins long so it's not far off a full album. Production is by Steve Lyon of Depeche Mode, The Cure, Nitzer Ebb and Paradise Lost production fame .......AND it features the truly stunning death metal violin of the fabulous Emilie Autumn.

The Ep will retail at 6 or $10 plus postage but if you get in NOW you can pre-order it (paypal button on myspace main page) get it for less than half that price and signed!

Dont i go on! I know many of you have already ordered it, but get in early and save yourselves a few pennies and cheer up our investor :-)

Now I must reply to all your mails....... then it's on to update the website, watch this space for that as soon we will be making our entire back catalog available for free download there goes that fuckin generosity again!

Why is there no spell checker on a blog i could really do with one......:-)
