The So. Cal./North Jerz connection has come to fruition!  Hopefully the track will be completely uploaded by the time I post this but we've been workin' on this for a minute.  Giving you a taste of the forthcoming Young Jersey collaboration between Subtext and Price, Evolve One comes through with a melodic soulful beat, perfect for head-nodding in the subway or cruising down Highway 1, and 'Text and Price show you why the EDB emcees are the first cats you wanna call to put down a rhyme.  One!

Early - DJ Ian Head feat. Subtext - DJ Ian Head asked me to bless this for him and with a beat with a dope, stand-up bass sample, I couldn't resist and once he passed me the mike, I took off on the track and just beasted on it. Early!

Strictly Raw Shit - Subtext, Omega Jackson, and DJ Ian Head are the Neosapiens. We ain't gone. We just been sleep. The Everydaybeats crew began with this alliance back in 1999 and it's still the nucleus. Repping the gritty, grungy style of hip hop that is the hallmark of the entire crew, this track is indeed strictly raw shit.

The Chronicle - Rough mix of a story-telling track about the life and times of an emcee coming into himself. Not enough emcees tell stories these days as it takes more work. A journey of my life as a hip hop artist.

Yup. Our fam at BoundlessNY (formerly Vinylconnect.com) is offering the "Opening Salvo" EP as a free promo item with any purchase of $25 or more. BNY is one of the best spots for hip hop, reggae, and soul vinyl pieces on the web if you haven't checked 'em out and they've shown me a lot of love and support over the years so holla!
